As an aside, Fiat used to have special deals for the Clergy. Not sure if they still do it.Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Road Tax and Insurance depends on size of car, age of you and the car etc. Cant be too specific but my road tax on a 1.8T is about £120 for 6 months........ gutted.
MOTs are around £50 a pop, then depending on what needs doing, more money on top,
Petrol, cant possibly guess how much petrol you would use?
Oil quite expensive for a decent make, again depends on how much you love your car.
Fluffy dice, pound shop or the likes
Anything else, driving gloves or beaded front seat massage cover estimates?
LOL................
I've been quoted £1000 pa for my insurance, that can't be right can it? It's my first car but i'm mid twenties, it's not like I'm a crazy hoodie wearing teen.0 -

Go as a Vicar instead ??
This thread reminds me of a Vicar or someone trying to pretend to be one. Who was selling an old beat up Micra or something similar on eBay not all that long ago.:D

I AM a vicar. We don't get particularly special deals, even if you have baptised the baby of one of the sales people - I speak from experience. The contrary could be the case (not for pervvy driving gloves reasons). Some years ago I bought a car and haggled the price down. The sales man (was a man on that occasion) thought vicars were a soft touch & I rapidly changed his mind. Don't expect vicar sympathy, just do the homework, know what you want and be prepared to walk away if you don't get it. They want to sell to you more than you want to buy from them.
Finally, common or garden vicars (like me) don't get cars supplied. Bishops, now they're another story.
Anyone want a second hand funeral, only one owner.....0 -
