I'm going to buy a 2nd hand car, should I dress up as a priest?

I think I could get a better deal as a man of the cloth.
Seriously though, and since I'm touching cloth, I'll make this brief...
Looking for a second hand car, first car, any tips? How do I get it home if I'm not insured? Is it better to buy from a dealer then private? What do I do if it breaks down after a couple of uses?
What are the costs involved in running a car?
Road Tax?
Insurance?
MOT?
Petrol?
Oil?
Fluffy dice?

Haaa!!!! Think you'd probably get a less better deal if you dressed up as a priest judging by the news lately.....
Road Tax and Insurance depends on size of car, age of you and the car etc. Cant be too specific but my road tax on a 1.8T is about £120 for 6 months........ gutted.
MOTs are around £50 a pop, then depending on what needs doing, more money on top,
Petrol, cant possibly guess how much petrol you would use?
Oil quite expensive for a decent make, again depends on how much you love your car.
Fluffy dice, pound shop or the likes
Anything else, driving gloves or beaded front seat massage cover estimates?
LOL................:heart2::heart2::heart2: I LOVE MY BEAGLE! :heart2::heart2::heart2:0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. What kind of cloth are you touching, does it feel soft?
If you really ARE a priest, (and i somewhat doubt it) shouldn't the Diocese provide you with a car for your home visits?
By the way, I think you priests sometimes get a rough time in the press.0 -
