kezlou - how was your driving lesson? I've just started mine up again after a 10 year hiatus and I'm quite enjoying it!

    Afternoon everyone.
Been to soft play this morning - who needs the gym when I can spend the morning clambering after the kids :rotfl: Got to clean the bathroom and I want to cut the lawn.
My mum has got DD (who will sleep for the most part of their time together) so I can pop out and get some soft shoes for my dance classes. In addition to tap they also do "theatrecraft" which to me is a bit like the modern dancing I did as a kid. Can't keep doing it in my trainers :rotfl:
Tea tonight will be chicken and rice as we've not had that for a while. Will bung in some sort of veg to bulk it out.

Diva - well I award you the gold medal in projectile vomiting ;) :rotfl: I confess that's one sport I NEVER hope to see :p

Stroppyjock - Keep the money, it was your MIL's bequest and you have no one else to justify yourself to. Tell the rest of the family to mind their own beeswax ;)

flutterby - enjoy Hairy Bikers tonight :)

Aussielass - Nice to see you posting :j

N9eav - I too am getting to the point where I just think "make a bl00dy decision" - quyite frankly I can't see any coalition government lasting any length of time so the sooner they form one the sooner we can all get back to the polls.

OK had better head off and do the washing up.
Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.

    Afternoon all.

A bit chilly in Concrete Cow Country today; but at least it's stayed dry thus far.

Stroppy I agree with everyone who has said you should accept the money your MIL wanted you to have. You know you didn't extort it, you just treated MIL in the way you'd like to be treated yourself; and it's no-one else's damn business what she chose to do with her money.:)

OS today is bread rolls, and later on, mushroom risotto for dins. Must remember to get Mr LW to prep some spuds for tomorrow, too (sausage'n'chips on the meal plan), as we'll be in a bit of a rush tomorrow night, taking Mr LW's pal who recently split from his wife to the pub. I've rashly volunteered to drive back, so the "boys" can have a couple of jars together. *rolleyes*

I hope everyone's having a good day; ((((HUGS)))) for those who aren't, for whatever reason, or if you just want one.

Hi all, thank you all soooo much for you opinions:

I've already ordered a nice bench for just outside my back door (purchased before I found out about the will), the MIL used to drag one of my kitchen chairs out and sit and look at the countryside, and the standing joke was I always had to take the bloomin chair in at night. I'm going to get a plaque with "In memory to a dear friend, Sheila" in Gaelic, she was learning Gaelic. MIL GF and I were supposed to visit folk in Canada this July, we cancelled as we didnt think the MIL would be fit enough (the MND deterioated very quickly) so will treat GF to holiday next year. another nice thing she done, we shared a lobve for cooking and gardening, and whilst in hospital she wrote out all her "secret" baking recipes for me, it sits proudly in my kitchen now. She would have fitted in well on this thread.

Tru - what do you make and why the big increase in uptake this year? Good news for you and well done :T. I wanted to start a birdwatching tour business in North Scotland, had the business planned approved then the ex-wife bankrupted me, but still hanker to do it and may get a webpage setup to do it on a smaller scale.

kezlou and lowesy, driving gets easier, honest!! One day it will all just "click" and come together.

Still freezing here and we have had some really heavy hail/snow showers but at this time sun is out!!

Once again a big thank you for all the replies. :T
