  • No, £1.50 cost is high enough
With the kids mags I feel slightly different, most kids I know love getting a magazine either from Mum/Dad/whoever or buying from pocket money the magazines my children buy/get always have competitions in so these are the 'regular' ones they get anyway I don't go out & buy more.

My little girl gets PINK, CUTE & Busy Time
My eldest girl gets Dr Who Adventures, Hello Kitty & Jacqueline Wilson.

Sometimes they get the odd extra one but for me I'm not spending 'more' money on them.

Can I ask, probably Princess Pixiedust knows the answer to this, who brought the £1.50 limit in in the first place? Would you be able to list the £2 comps & just change the 1st post accordingly or do you have to 'ask' to do this?
2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please

Surely this entire forum is about giving people opportunity, and teaching them to take the right decisions for them - rather than not allowing people the opportunity because they are on a money site because they are useless with money - what a silly argument. This entire site, from where I'm standing, is about empowering people with enough information that they make informed judgements, and that they then have sufficient financial control to make the best judgements for them.

Just because you don't agree with something you don't need to call it 'silly'.

Anyway shouldn't this all be on discussions? - it's going on forever.
Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.

Nor me, I have entered twice and had no reply. Think its a bit unusual, should at least get one the first time you enter. I don't think I will enter again either.

Thanks Ikkle - had a phone call today to say I've won second prize which is a Billabong Rucksack and Cap. Then had another call about an hour later to say I've won third prize - a T-Shirt and Cap. Bit concerned about the last bit though - "No mobile phone number may win more than once".

I don't think they had enough entrants hun. Looking at thanks on here there were only around 40 mark. I've just check ducks and they had about the same so that might be why you won twice. If they send it then don't worry :) They are obviously waiting till last to call me and tell me I won 1st prize lol :(
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
