Yes, would love to see more comps and have the choice of whether i enter or notthanks for all the comments, all valid and matter has now been passed to a member of the mse team, so will be either yay or nay, cant do another poll as wont let me as the closed one cant be removed for some reason?
good point about the mags korky, i must spend £100's on mags:o so i can post the comps so others can benefit, totally my decision and beleive that we should all have the choice of what we can enter or not
so if someone posts up a comp where you have to buy the mag for entry form etc and mag costs over £1.50 then it is up to the individual if they buy it or not, same should go for the texts up to £2 imo
from martins thread on comps:
2. Free Competitions Only. This is a not a place to advertise competitions you have to pay to enter. I will accept limited cost text message type competitons (though frankly they're usually naff apart from in special circumstances) where they cost up to £1.50 to text to enter, but generally I would say make sure they are free.
dont agree with the naff part though:rotfl:he obv doesnt see all the gorgeous prizes to be had!:D
lots of comps to post btw why is it i always go nuts when its shopping day:rotfl::D
i think if anything furthur needs discussed on this matter, than please post in the discussions thread as this thread is really only for posting comps and those who dont care for all the talk then they will start to get miffed so has to be fair to all, hth xx0 -
No, £1.50 cost is high enoughYou can enter all of these (and have just been called to say you can enter in all flavours)
All are daily entry, free texts.
Thanks for your help purplecatlover
To enter simply text MACE plus your flavour keyword nomination (e.g. ENGLAND) to 51199, Text votes will be free of charge (only one entry per person, per flavour, per day will be counted) thanks to the sponsorship of mobile phone voting by the O2 Wireless network. By voting by text, you consent to receiving a marketing message by return from Walkers and O2.
Send the keyword for the Flavour you wish to vote for to 51199 between 17th May 2010 and 26th June 2010.
Valid Flavour keywords for voting by SMS are “GERMANY”, “BRAZIL”, “FRANCE”, “USA”, “HOLLAND”, “JAPAN”, “ARGENTINA” or “ENGLAND”.
There are 12 weekly draws, two for each week of the Promotional Period with two prizes to be won of £50 worth of MACE vouchers from all valid entries received in that week.
Sorry if I should have posted these all together just realised there's more still....but they all have different prizes and close dates so didn't know what was best. xx
Thank you so much beffffff, just had a phone call to say that I had won one of the £50.00 vouchers for MACE - couldnt believe it, thought with the amount of people that would be entering these free comps that I wouldn't have a chance of winning. just goes to show you.
Thanks again:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Yes, would love to see more comps and have the choice of whether i enter or notOh, just when I thought I understood these texts comps...I am lost again!
The Walkers/Pub/Mace/Selecta etc etc where you vote for your favourite flavour/country.
Can I text each one every day (even tho they are all 51199 texts) as long as I vote for a different country on each one OR can I only enter one of the 51199 comps per day. i.e Pub on Tuesday, Selecta Wednesday, Mace Thursday etc etc??
I'm so glad these are free to text cos I'm sure I've been doing it wrong! D'oh!!
:undecided:doh:

Yes, would love to see more comps and have the choice of whether i enter or notIt is a little confusing hunni. But you can enter them all once a day, and once per flavour.
So you can text:
SELECTA ENGLAND
SELECTA JAPAN
SELECTA....etc
WALKERS ENGLAND
WALKERS JAPAN
WALKERS.... etc
Like that, so in effect, there's loooooooads you can text every day :rotfl: I don't have the patience I'm afraid xxxx JoJo xx
