OldGreyFox - yes it is me,lol :) tbh - I just wanted to see for myself if there was any point, I was a Kleeneze distributor for five years seven years ago and I needed to test it out for myself first so put out 5 books and gave them to 5 of my best customers :) And yes I have tried heaps of companies over the last couple of years because I am desperate to make money - I work full time as a special support assistant in a special needs school, very challenging but highly rewarding and I love it, however the pay is ridiculously low :( I work for 32 and a half hours a week and bring home just over £730 a month. My hubby is on long term sick awaiting an operation on his shoulder - he has been off for 6 months so far and it will be another 18-24 months before he returns, mainly due to the waiting time between consultation time, operation, etc. It's an extremely fraustrating and stressful time for us but instead of claiming benefits and moaning I get up off my !!!! and do something about it.
Jeanette - I absolutely don't give a monkeys what other reps post, I post what has happened to me. I didn't come on here out of the blue 'innocently' at all. I posted it as a third party because I didn't want to be judged but I was anyway!
You have replied to someone about fuel costs, etc - I don't drive, I do it all on foot and as far as I'm concerned it helps me keep fit :) I am pleased with the orders I picked up and my customers were genuinely pleased to see the book so I am happy about it because god knows we desperately need it right now.

Anyone know why the shares are dropping?

    Debbie

The private investors who hold shares seem to think it could be manipulation by the Market Makers (The big city traders) before the results are announced soon but I don't know anything about these sort of things. Here are a couple of links to discussion boards I know of:

    http://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?page=1&ShareTicker=FDL

  • So basically in a nutshell like most Kleeneze reps they can't tell the truth, it's obfuscation, half truths and distortion. I've heard it all , I've heard every single piece of the rubbish that is spouted at meetings, seminars, on ezereach phone lines. The classic **so and so with ((((insert whatever disability, sob story, X amount of kids under five, X amount of personal setbacks))))) puts just 10 (((or insert ludicrously small amount pf books compared to what everyone else puts out - 200, 400 or more a week))) books out and they've got £500 of orders!!** - follow this with **So you see Kleeneze works and everyone loves our stuff**

Hearing this kind of quack for 12 months while trudging the streets with hundreds of books - after the first drop of 50 or so in a trolley going all the way back to the house for another you soon find by about the second week that it's just ludicrous to do this on foot unless you have all the time in the world. I am retired and even I could see it needed the car, by the second month I was miles from home, just doing 200 books a week , hardly a lot compared to some I've spoken to who did 700 - 1000 a week. Then if you are lucky to get a £25 order with a mop or some such you'll need a car to deliver. I've been to meeting where bronzes have said they have folk who do it on the bus etc - a bit of very careful questioning a few weeks later soon finds out the people discussed have quit.

This is it in a nutshell if you stay long enough you begin to see through the rubbish and the falsehoods, the key though is not to begin to question it , if you do the whole house of cards just falls apart. The annoyance of the uplines when you ask why this or that person who a few months earlier were the flavour of the month is now referred to as lazy or idle or lacking vision , not seeing *the opportunity* etc etc at meetings when they have left.

Be sure of this , I have seen all this has to offer, I have seen the lengths that some will go to and the things they will do and say to recruit, to sell this supposed *opportunity*

Well reading the first link which has threads marked *71% drop in 5 months* it's clear that they have been bailed out too many times and the bank won't lend any more money to them . As the thread says it's been priced for bankruptcy - I pity those spending money right now doing Kleeneze. The fall out from this going under will be enormous , not least for those who have paid for stuff and await delivery or those hoping to get more orders to actually get their bonuses.

They started charging for credit card use , they often put in pay for 12 months internet ordering for the price of 10 , what happens to all that money?

    Saw this on those threads

**What I don't like about Findel is that a major lump of the cash generated is from charging high interest to poor people who are less likely to pay as the debt crisis continues. Higher bad debts are possible.**

    A very real warning there.

    Hi Jeanette :)
Coming from 5 years of experience of doing Kleeneze in the past I genuinely know what you mean about the legwork :) I didn't have the choice of delivering mops with a car and still don't - quite honestly I haven't the money for lessons, lol! I have been through rain, snow, sleet and scorching weather but it worked for me at the time when I needed it - I gave it up to become a classroom assistant :) I know for a fact it is going to be hard work, I am under no delusions about that but I am also a very honest person and tell people that it's simple to do but takes work. I also never blame people if it it's not for them - I'm not one of these people who protest that people are lazy and haven't worked for it because I know it can be challenging. Right now I do need it - I have walked into shops asking for seasonal work but they all need shop assistants in the day time and need them to be flexible, I already work full time so this isn't an option for me.
I am going to be shattered by xmas but if it helps me to get some presents under the tree for my children then I'll be a happy mum :)
Good luck to all in whatever ventures you embark in :)

  • Hi all :)
I would just like to say in regards to receiving £1 order a book - someone I know very well has given out 5 books and from them received over £50 of orders :) The reason that this was achieved is because she knocked the doors of her neighbours and asked if they would be interested in having a look, when she picked them up two days later 4 out of the 5 had ordered and one of the books had 2 orders inside - one from the neighbour and one from the neighbour's daughter :)

I would be interested to know if the orders were consumables or from the Xmas book Jenny? Hope you are keeping well

Well that's very nice and everything but I still think this is a kleeneze distributors box ticking exercise as I pointed out before. You know full well what these people will do to portray their **opportunity** and I think this ticks all those boxes. Sorry but there it is.

**Sigh** and you'll be delighted at the correct reply won't you?

I know you work for some MLM that supplies * consumables* but this line of patter was also trotted out by Kleeneze - **people will always need cleaning stuff*

Yes they do however stuff from the shops is quarter the price and is better - there wasn't a single thing in the catalogue that was the least bit of use that you couldn't get for a fraction down the shops.

Before anyone rolls up to say how good it is stop fooling yourself - it's rubbish and well you know it, the stuff was an embarrassment to take round to peoples houses.

Is that referring to interest that distributor,s pay on credit they get from Kleeneze . If so whats the interest rate ?
