    Peston reports:

10k tax allowance to be introduced over next Parliament.
Inheritance tax cut shelved for the time Lib Dems are in govt.
£6bn of spending cuts will go ahead, unless economy deteriorates significantly in the time being.

Clarke into 2 from 4 in Betfair now 3.05 (in seconds) must a have been false, although I can see the LibDems not wanting Georgie as Chancellor.

What, you don't believe it? Do think Nick Clegg would get the support of his party without that crucial policy? The BBC reported Cameron agreed to it on the first day of negotiations. They will fund it by removing some tax credits, presumably.

no i do believe it. absolutely priceless to see the tories have to vote in leftwing policy. genius. now you can be sure if labour had tried to put that sort of policy through the tories would have been rabid.
