I agree - I went for a run on the beach yesterday and it just lifted me. There's a bit in my 'Little Book of Calm' where is says focusing your eyes on a distant object calms you. I just love running with Huntcliff and Saltburn Pier in the distance and aiming for one of the gaps between the legs.

Butti, thats what I am looking forward to most next week, being able to run along the beach. I will have no way to track it or anything but it will be fabby. I must admit I do feel calmer and go farther if I think about teh end of the moor rather than where I am just now. Strange :o

Elf, I am so proud of you spinning, you are ace :)

Cleaning and gardening done, now I need to put this henna on my head to cook for 3 hours :rotfl:

I'm going to go and sort something to eat and do some guitar practice. Can I just say again how much I love this site and how much I've missed you all (I'll try not to gush too much!)

Am trying to eat healthy but right now could MURDER some chips *will not cave*

Not to condone your craving, but when training for a marathon apparently your food should be about 60% carbs...

I start operation Virgin Marathon tonight - just using the virgin training plan though

I love excercise like that. When I run I feel I ahve achieved something. However when I do my weights I feel I have done nothing. Obviously over time I should see a difference but I want to see/feel it now :rotfl:

What are you now Elf? I have about 40lbs to lose
