Comments

  • The name of the PM is now irrelevant, our Supreme Emperor Rupert is the one who runs the country.

The little comments in the press of how some ex model wife manages to look tall and slim whilst pregnant and has a vital job selling clothes when the previous wife (who actively campaigns to reduce the numbers of women and children dying in childbirth worldwide) is only sneered at for not being an ex model just irritate me, but is to be expected when the only value of a female in those venom filled rags is determined in relation to the number of men who would be prepared to pay to see her in her bra and knickers.

The venom directed at people for being - gasp - Scots - however, is vicious, nasty and just as bad as the 'Immigrants are coming to steal your lives' stories, as well as the 'Women who are not married are all prostitutes with the Welfare State as their Pimp' tack.

Next thing you know, they'll be introducing a new female politician to prove British politics hasn't gone back another 50 years - and Sarah Palin will have been given a British Passport, courtesy of Emperor Rupert.

Unless you have made a fortune on the value of your house (quite feasible with the previous government), have private medical care, private education, cousins with entries in Burkes' and are white Anglo Saxon, male, married and middleaged, you can look forward to a very sharp shock in the next couple of years. Being poor and vulnerable is going to get a whole lot worse now.

So, I am going to sweep the floor, then have a bath, then get ready to go to my tutorial and continue my long term plan of working a way to get out of the political firing line, as Education is going to be my only escape from the future.

And the rest of the place still looks like a mad scientist's hovel. With me as the mad scientist.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Afternoon campers, I finally made it back after being ill and feeling sorry for myself for a few days. I'm not completely well, heck I still feel like !!!!! but it isn't going to get anything done. Not even sure what it is, I think it is some lurgy. I have a throat that feels like I am swallowing razor blades, constant tiredness and a perpetual weakness all over. My whole body feels like a jelly, all wobbly and funny!! Oh and I ache too..but I have no sniffles or sneezes or anything like that. Weird!!

I'm just going to jump back in and see how I go as I really don't want to knock myself out..

I'm sorry if I haven't read the thread and have forgotten anyone's birthday etc.. Have a "Belated Birthday" and lots of "hugs"...

  • jojo you had better be science minister then.

Just decluttered another KH blocking the road.

    "R is that your car?"
    "Yes"
"I don't know if you realise but thats the access road to our garage and you're blocking the road"
"Am I blocking you in right now?"
    "Well, yes"
"Where are you off to then?"
    "Here and there"
"There's another car there, thats blocking the road" (it wasn't)
"I don't know whose that is"
"You need more parking in this village"
    "Hmmnn"

This is part of the "whats your problem" approach, I will do as I like, no matter how ignorant, because an extra 5 minutes that it would take me to walk from the car park is soooo vital to what? Reading the paper?

Grrr. Really, anyone like me to have a fight for them today, I'm up for it!

dw loaded again, wm on again, one bed remade.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Back from coffee with my mother.. well that was depressing.. lol.. my uncle is being shipped home today and she is organising the funeral.. but she wants this.. and this... and this... and can I do it... yeah yeah.. whatever.. oh and ALL adult members of the famil are expected to be at the funeral... not if I can get out of it.. I hate funerals.. I like to remember people in my own way not having to be publicly miserable about their demise... I like my little bubble... oh.. and she doesn't expect OH (who never met said uncle) to be staying at home and KH will be there.. oh great.. the 2 of them in a heap together for the first time since KH took his insects elsewhere.. I don't think I can cope! I am fat, hormonal and tired... I really wish I could avoid this one!...

    In with an update

Plenty of interest in bed so I have someone coming over tomorrow to pick it up.

Money decluttered to new school for DS2's uniform. DD is not having grey sweatshirts and green polos yuck not for a girl she'll have blouses and tie. I did get her a hairband and a scrunchie and I'm still on the hunt for the right colour of green ribbon to make her korks.
