Morning all. Hope everyone is well.

The sun is shining and so far this morning I have:

Tidied and decluttered one third of my wardrobe (it's huge), filled a large bag for chairty, decluttered some old photos and stuff I was hanging onto just because (all stuffed into my wardrobe :o). Done one load of washing. Emptied and then used a descaler on the dishwasher. Read 2 chapters of the body clutter book. Shampooed another large chunk of the lounge carpet. Got rather too intimate with the toilet (took a non-scratch scrubby sponge and bleach and scrubbed under the rim as swishing and swiping, and mopping the floor isn't getting rid of the lingering smell of wee!!!).

Now I'm sat down for a rest.

    Next on my list is:

    1. Cook a big batch of chilli using the reduced mince I got yesterday.
    2. Find some space for it in the freezer :rotfl:
    3. Hang out the washing.
    4. Bake a cake (from monday's list)
    5. Read some more body clutter book (it gets you to dig deep as to why you don't like yourself and what childhood memories you have connected with your comfort food and why you eat when upset - I never got beyond chapter 3 last time as I wasn't ready to deal with some things).
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    Morning all

Been to B&Q and got some wallpaper for the LR - want to get it done sometime this year and saw the paper I wanted so thats now got. Had several coffees whilst reading the thread - loving our new Flylady Government - not impressed with the other new one
DH has hoovered the LR but it needs doing again so I'll wait till he's at work and then redo it. DD has Horse Riding after school so won't get much done later so I'd better pull my finger out and get something done now

Well, I haven't been on here for far too long!

The Bad News - My DH has left me - he's been umming and ahhing about it for a month or so and he finally left on Sunday!

The Good News - I've moved from sobbing mess to mostly in control with just occasional tears.

Anyway, he's coming round to night to look after my DD when she gets back from her dad's until I get back from Slimming World. I want the house to look great when he gets here (I won't be here when he gets here) - not in a 'if the house looks great he'll come back' way but more of a 'I want him to know that I haven't been sitting around moping and wallowing in self pity' kind of way. And, I haven't been wallowing - have sorted out all my benefits and wrapped up the business partnership, had fun with DD etc.

So, I'm jumping in with my own list of what I want to get done today and I'm hoping for a big kick up the backside from you guys! Whatever I don't get done I'll finish tomorrow - I'm working on the idea of a superficial clean.

    Kitchen
Clear and wipe down worktops - put things away properly
    Wipe down windowsills
    Clear out fridge
    Wipe down appliances
Vacuum (inc. under kitchen units) and mop

    Downstairs Bathroom
    Clean bath/sink/toilet/mirror
    Vacuum and mop
    Clean horrid metal sheves

    Laundry
Wipe down washing machine and clean drawer
Wipe down sheves and tidy cleaning products
Get a coloured wash and a white wash done
    Ironing
    Vacuum and mop floor

    Dining Room
    Clear sideboard
    Clear table
    Sort out shoe racks
    Wipe down table and chairs
    Vacuum and mop floor

    Lounge
    Vacuum sofa
    Dust
Put DVD's and books away properly
    Vacuum floor

    Hall
Sort out carrier bags under stairs
    Clean door and shelf
    Vacuum inc. stairs

    Landing
    Vacuum

    My Bedroom/Bathroom
Put everything away and take laundry downstairs
    Clean bath/sink/toilet/mirrors
    Wipe down windowsills
Fold towels neatly on the towel rack
    Dust bedroom furniture/television
    Clean florr with Bissell thingy

    DD's Bedroom/Bathroom
Hmmm...too overwhelming...maybe leave that for the weekend

I'm just going to finish my cup of tea while checking for any new jobs on the direct gov website and then I think I'm going to set the timer for half an hour and come back to cross some things off the list :T
