I could get the ironing done before I go out in half an hour but I've decided to sit outside in the sunshine looking for jobs on the internet instead!
I'm going to have a go at completing the rest of my list tomorrow but I have an interview at the Job Centre in the morning to put in my claim for Income Based Job Seekers Allowance and I'm not looking forward to it...so I may just come home and go to bed. I so don't want to go onto benefits - if only I could find a job in the next couple of days...0 -
Afternoon all,
Had a rough night last night with what has turned into a coldy virussy thing. I was dreaming about drinking water constantly as my nose was blocked, and my tongue dried up from breathing with my mouth open.
Took a vitamin C and zinc tablet this morning in the hopes that if I've caught it early enough, it should lessen the length of this thing.
Then, I went to Mr T, and spent a fortune on fruit! I had no idea when I put the cherries in the trolley how expensive they were (over £5 ) - that'll teach me to check the prices. Bought canteloupe and galia melon, kiwis, cherries, green grapes, pears, tinned fruit cocktail and tinned pineapple. Also managed to get 12 eggs that had been reduced (box had been leaked on by another broken egg, but eggs inside were fine), so I've got a Jamaican ginger cake in the oven cooking at the moment.
So, flying lists:

Hugs to you on that one! I was made redundant in March and have found myself without a job for the first time in my life. I find the job center bit the worst bit of it all. But take deep breaths and get it over and done with and then you only have to spend a maximum of 5 minutes every 2 weeks actually seeing someone in there.
Yesterday I told the jobcenter lady that I'd do anything not to have to come in here and she said yup, know the feeling!! There's a few staff members there that have been unemployed for several months before working there - so some of them do understand.
Edit: Just been and decluttered a friday ad listing. Hopefully that will lead to decluttering the old car stereo from the car that was scrappedworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
OK, HHC at 4:30.....clothes to put away, kitchen to S+S and hoover to go round, then I will have a cuppa and dish up food.....
