car Damage

Forget the quotes.
Some filler and sand paper and finish off with a Halfords rattle can and you will have a £25 repair. Not worth spending on a proper repair for an old car.
MOMENT
It might be an eight year old car but in no way is it an old shed.
Love to see what state your car is in. Also do you never get board of writing MOMENT? :rotfl:0 -
Have you got a quote from "dent away" or similar?0

Well hopefully that may happen to you one day then.
I don't believe that any of this is age related, it is all about attitude and personal responsibility.0 -

You can't compare an 8 year old car to a 3 month old one though - I'd say using a rattle can on a primered wing is a fair stab at a repair on an 8 year old car which, being french, is probably worth about £3.50 anyway...........0 -

Might aswell just leave the damaged wing on as it'll just look a botched job.0 -

TBH if you take your time with rattle cans it can look good (smoothing it down between colour coats, etc etc)
Either that or pay bodyshop prices, it's the only way you can be sure to avoid it looking poor.0 -
The other trick with rattle cans is to keep them in a warm (not too hot, or they might pop) waterbath, have 2 or 3 cans and swap when they start to cool...Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0
