You dont do too well with your car do you? :rotfl:

First neighbor moves it, then this happens!

I echo sentiments that it was prob a transit/sprinter and the best way to deal with it will be to find a panel off the same coloured car in a scrapyard (suggest breakersyard.co.uk if you have no luck locally) and get busy with the spanners. Shouldn't be a hard job to do.
Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male:

  • In a local multi story cark park on Saturday a lady (looked about 70) tried to get into a space, failed and made a large dent in the car next to her, when I came back from getting my ticket, she was trying to rub any trace of the paint from her car off the car next to her, I stopped and waited for her to write a note, but she didn’t. She just drove off. I felt very bad for the car she had scrapped, but silly me I didn’t have a pad or paper to write anything down.

of course there are those who will happily damage a car for doing just this.

lol, but don't you just find that you can park in the middle of a totally empty car park, but when you get back someone will ALWAYS be parked next to you

Apparently, some people cannot park at all with using another car as a guide, it conjures up images of folk driving around empty streets looking for a car to park next to :rotfl:

As I had nothing to do this afternoon, I decided to go round a few body repair centres for some quotes.

One quoted £270 to fix and £360 (i think) to replace. Another place quoted £240 to fix but said if I wanted a replacement they would have to also respray the door to match??.

Another body shop said it wouldn't be worth repairing "for what it is" and is going to price me up a replacement patent part.

    :)

    Forget the quotes.

Some filler and sand paper and finish off with a Halfords rattle can and you will have a £25 repair. Not worth spending on a proper repair for an old car.

    MOMENT :D
