right......pizza is here so i'm going to sign off.

Won't get to say au revoir in the morning as the taxi is booked for 6.30. I'll try to pop in when I'm away, to say 'ola' and whether I've buried OH in the sand.

Have a good couple of weeks and look after each other.

thankyou for all being such lovely people.

    xxxxx

  • I think the problem with the Open Uni is that once you start you can't stop - it's a bit like pringles.

Bunny - anything we can help with?

Right I think it's time to crack on with some studying. I've been rather lazy this weekend, what with the pesky ear infection. TMI alert - the pain was soo bad, I was hugging the toilet bowl!

Buffy - sending you lots hugs too,

    Cx

LMC - sorry to hear you're suffering with your ear at the moment. That's totally miserable.

  • Cheers Suzy, I know it spoilt the birthday plans I'd made months in advance. Hey ho, such is life - these things are sent to try us.

I need to get better soon, as I'm going on holiday again - my birthday pressie from my OH.

I need to study, I must go adn do it. I must write 1,500 on how historic global events have shapped the world we live in today. Or something like that.

Well, DD seems to be 'holding' it in a lot and ends up making a 'mess'. (this is a continuing theme with DD-we had a similar issue last year) and we thought it had be sorted-trip to Dr, lots of positive reinforcement, sticker charts etc (DD is now 7) but I have had 'evidence' of tissues that she seems to be putting in her pants. So, I think the problem still exists, she is just hiding it from us. This whole weekend, she has spent more time on the toilet than anywhere else.

I asked her today (after DH and I have had to clean her up to to mess everywhere!) whats happening (ok, I lost my rag a bit) and she said it is hurting coming out-but I think she is holding it in! I have seen her doing it...anal retentive and all that.

I dont know what to do. I said I will help her by increasing her fibre intake, she drinks loads of water and has her 5 a day-she did have problems as a baby.

    I dunno.

Gosh Bun....a tricky one. Never had that problem with mine so not sure what to suggest.

Do you think it's a physical or emotional problem?
