  • Evening.

Katsu - um, sorry can't offer any words of wisdom. What are you studying?

I feel as though I'm hitting my head against a brick wall with my assignment, I'm really starting to hate this course!

I think I've broken my kettle as it's making very strange noises!

I'm studying HR. My tutor is dangling the carrot infront of me of being done with this in the next week, but I need to get up to pass standard (I failed when I submitted it originally). I'm now over the wordcount and have to write the 3 pages of conclusions that is required in the marking guide.

    ummm, yeah
I bet you look nothing like a trout Bunny. Are you trouting at your mum or my rubbish?

BB - huge thanks for helping me. My tutor wants me to do the 3 pages of conclusions tonight and send him what I've written.

I wish I knew I could do it.

I really really need to do this as my job options are severely limited by not being professionally qualified, so in an ecconomic downturn I really need to be able to get a job if I loose mine. I would get screened out on paper for lots of jobs for not being qualified, just experienced.

I also was hoping to go on and turn this into a degree (it is a postgraduate course so I want to save up for a masters "top up" for it). I lost my confidence to do that when I got a dismal fail and realised I didn't understand how to do and write up research.

Doing my actual job, I'm better at - thankfully.

I'm trouting because you are clearly very clever and I seem to have shot my brains out my arris in the 20 years since I went to uni.

    Makes no sense to me.

  • It's Living in a Globalised World Katsu, to go towards a degree in Business and Economics.

After thsi course, I've got two more to do, yeah!

I then want to do a degee in Politics and philiosphy - don't ask - the OU is addictive!

I'd love to go to Uni and maybe if I get that job I've been waffling on about for months, I might be able to in a few years!

  • Buffy have you seriously thought of leaving? I mean looking into flat shares/rooms/studio flats? Looked at it as a SOA/budget? I feel you should put your debt to one side and see if you can move out sooner rather than later. Yes if you stay there you may well be debt free in 7 months but do you want to still be in this situation till next year?
