he turned up to ..............get a shower.........in my nice clean bathroom when he has his own shower...........:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Ah, but his shower doesn't magically clean itself every time he needs it - does it?
I heard some mumbled swearing and said that him telling me what I should be doing really wasn't much practical help.......

Practical help? Next you'll be asking for blood.

BB - he sounds like he's being an idiot, as is Buffy's mum. Buffy, your mum needs to sort herself out and stop blaming you for things that are out of your control (because, of course, you put all the stuff in the spare room and made the boiler break). And BB, ignore the bloke, he just sounds like he's being a !!!!....And he's probably come round for a shower as he's run out of shower gel

at least I know he won't be so drunk he appears back around 2am. Man Utd have lost the title so he won't be celebrating.

Just cut all the beads off the neckline of a brand new chiffon top, liked the top but not the beads on it. Could have ended in disaster but seems to have come out ok. Back to the rest of the packing....

    Sorry Katsu-only brown ones I have are like a coffee/mink shade,or gold..
Anyone got an opinion on this......DH bought a glass sunroof for a mini on ebay, for £27, to be collected from Weston Super Mare.He paid immediately, then drove from Sussex to WSM to collect it. The guy was going to be out at work,so arranged to leave it in the drive. When DH got there (after 2.5 hr drive!) the glass was missing, it was just a frame. He called the seller, and he apologised and said he had accidentally smashed the glass that very morning, and offered a refund. He did in fact refund £40,so that went some way towards the fuel costs. How do you think I should word the feedback??Or don't we need to as we didn't actually buy it in the end?

BB, hope you do have a good holiday, I don't know how you manage. I'd be so furious. It was bad enough when I did our bath room the guy who gives me a lift to work was full of patronising "advice" all of which was really obvious but in my case impossible to do on my own.

must go and plant my tomatoes.

SRM - I think I'd be influenced by why he didn't call your DH. Did he explain?

  • Sorry about all your problems BB/Buffy. No words of wisdom I am affraid But I am thinking of you both. BB don't let his attitude spoil your holiday :D

You can leave feedback even if you don't have it in your possesion because its 'completed' according to ebay. I would give a nutral (therefore doesn't effect him as much) and just keep it factual something like 'no communication, therefore 2.5hour wasted journey, however refund given when contacted'.

Well I have been semi productive today however its slowed down. I have henna on my hair for a strand test and now I must print out directions for next week. However I have no motivation at all :rotfl: Not good is it :o

    But why didn't he phone?

ok for the refund but he really could have saved you oh the trip!!!

I'd say something like, poor communications, decent refund?

I am so !!!!ed off and hurt.

been doing the sodding garden for most of the day. Mum hasn't been interested at all which was fine but then she is SO NEGATIVE and just doesn't seem to understand any of it. I know she is getting old and she forgets things but it doesn't stop me getting upset.

It doesn't help that I am knackered, we have no hot water or dishwasher and apparently its my fault we can't have a man round to look at the boiler because I haven't decorated the bathroom (if we do have changes it will affect the bathroom ie damage the decor) nothing to do with her piles of crap in the spare room that stop you getting to the boiler entirely - she will move that when they come round ? oh where? my room - it can't be hers cos her radiator doesn't work so they would need to look at that.
living here is bloody night mare.

Whatever happens will always be your fault, and whatever you do will never be good enough, because that's how your mother controls you. She provides shame, guilt, and low self-esteem, so you always feel you have to prove yourself. And of course you receive a dose of shame, guilt and low self-esteem in return, just so the circle doesn't break.

She wants someone to look after her when she gets older, and the person she has chosen is you. If that means you have to throw away the best years of your life, well - that's what daughters are for.
