Well done for making a start on the running again Bun, I am just sat here looking out at the rain with no intention of going anywere apart from Asda:o

I have decided to visit the Zen site every day and change 1 thing every week as I cannot go on the way I am for much longer without something giving way.

Going to try the getting up early approach which was very sucessful when I was writing assignments for my teaching quals when the boys were little.

Today........I am going to get on top of the housework which has gone up the wall seeing as though I have been ill this week.

That's how I started the walking- because of his book, been reading the site for years. It has got me out of "myself" (if you see what I mean) makes you look at life differently.

I still can't think of five things I would like to do, I just keep thinking of all the stuff I need to to do!

Still I have resealed the bath (again) and after breakfast I am going to put on some old clothes and tackle the garden rain or no rain. then I can maybe tidy up the conservatory.

come on breakfast I am raring to go (which is unusual!!!!)
(And Lou hope you are feeling better now?XX)

  • Morning everyone,

I'm feeling a tad better today; but still in a pain. I didn't fall asleep until 2am due to the pain and woke up at 9am - small start! Especially as I'm someone who can sleep for hours.

It's dark and over cast here, I need to study but in all honesty I want to curl up on the sofa!

As you can imagine yesterday was a very big non event - oh well. There;s lways next weekend!

    morning all.

Woke up and reached for my phone bleary eyed and went onto the AENA website. Seems the ash has moved north and it's now Italy which has the problems which is good for me....however, it is slowly creeping back across the UK and there are problems again in Scotland and Ireland. Met office don't seem to think it will be a problem for southern UK in the next day or so. Fingers crossed they are right.

Off to see Charlie. Have now 'upgraded' from just dugs to drugs plus a heat patch on the joint in my back which is damaged and the sciatica is running through. Can't feel a great deal heat to be honest going in to me but I'll see if it helps. Then come back and clean kitchen and bathroom, re-make bed and then pack.

If I cross my fingers, how will I type BB?

Seriously, here's hoping it works out OK.

For cheerful news have you seen the It's all gone horribly wrong thread? The poor chap Mike who had a builder trash his house and rip him off is having it fixed by DIY SOS, and the pester power of MSE posters has contributed to it. Such a fantastic outcome to have an end to what seems like a nightmare for this chap.

    Morning Bunny and Louise.

I admire your resolution Louise. My resolution is that I will do a load of studying today as yesterday I did a load of shopping instead :o

I have 3 exams in the week beginning Monday 14th June which I tried to do some past exam papers for the other day and I couldnt answer a single questions without referring to my books:o

I need a study plan to get me through them. Anyone who has any links with teaching will know that this term is the most stressfull and hectic out of the whole year as you prepare students for exams and are marking assignments not to mention the endless meetings on Improvements, performance, retention yadda, yadda........boom!

    that was my head exploding:(
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

Do you know what? I could happily lead a very simple life..........its other people who make it complicated.

Which brings me to my next problem. Surely if you want to make big changes then it would help if the people you live with are game for it too or at the very least supportive?

    .............big problem.
