Hello all, I use to post on here a few months ago and have come back as I feel like I am losing my way:o. I need to keep track of things and all the little successes as they do add up and hopefully it will force me to try extra hard at the MSEing so I have something to write down.:)

    Today I have:
    • cashed in a £4 scratchcard win and put into my sealed pot
    • wrapped 7 ebay sales from yesterday
    • thrown out everything from my ebay basket which I cannot realistically sell/charity shop
    • taken photographs for listings later
    • sorted through clothes and found 5 new things to ebay
    • sorted clothes I am going to keep into one basket
    and I will:
    • [strike]photograph clothes[/strike]
    • write new ebay listings
    • coins in piggy
    • wrap everything sold this evening
    • address all items paid for ready to post tomorrow
    • washing at 30
    • line drying
    • store cupboard meals
Hope everyone is having a good weekend:)

  • Just an idea, but I've been to couple of wedding where they've served bacon sarnies instead of a full buffet and they went down a storm - obviously no good if you're a veggie! Might be cheaper than a buffet.

booo to lost witty and thoughtful post DNMS!!!

Today hasn't started very DFW. I forgot to take out chicken from the freezer for chicken chasseur tonight  So i either swap with another meal but i really wanted to do roasties and yorkshires pudding etc and also need to use veg in the fridge

Or i buy some fresh chicken when i go out for my driving lesson and the frozen chicken will last for a meal in june mmmm i'll see what OH thinks

    Today i will

have driving lesson with my lesson vouchers
eggs and toast for breakfast from stores
    lunch from stores
    decide on chicken
list a few ebay bits for free listing day
    update sig with grocery spends
get in contact with first choice
package up 2 ebay items to send monday
    homework with DD1
    tidy and clean house
early night to be bright as a button for work tomorrow!

Yesterday my Nan asked if i minded her paying for my wedding dress!! Bless her!!! So as it stands mums and MIL's donations should cover the holiday and ceremony (nearly) and nan is paying for dress

So OH and i need to get bridesmaids dresses, suits, wedding rings, photographer in cyprus and spending money. Also then the party when with come back which i think will be about £750 with buffet food. Oh also a cake but i am hoping my Dad might offer a little something. Would be great if he could cover even just the cake!

Right off for eggs on toast!
Proud to have dealt with my debts:
    Lightbulb moment - Jan 08. Debts - circa 7k
    Debt free date 26/02/09

    This weekend I'm going to:
    - [STRIKE]Go to the cinema with the £1 ticket from last week's email. Think I'll take my own popcorn.:money:[/STRIKE] went to the disappearance of alice creed... Only good cos it was £1. Boo.
    - [STRIKE]Spruce round! Flylady is my icon! [/STRIKE] Ah, that looks better. HC tomorrow
    - [STRIKE]Look into getting my winter duvet laundered[/STRIKE] £12!! Might see if I can do this myself at MiL2B's in the summer when we're housesitting.
    - [STRIKE]Meal plan!!!! And organise a big food shop (or as big as the joint a/c says we can...)[/STRIKE] I'm really trying with this one - always end up doing a monthly shop that only lasts 3 weeks!:mad: I'll try again!! Looking on organizedhome.com for inspiration!
    - [STRIKE]Wedding plan!!! :D:D:D[/STRIKE] Exhausted! :rotfl:One sparkly thing is starting to look the same as the next!

I also really need to look into budgeting for the rest of the year :o - think this will be a task #1 tomorrow.

Hey Samantha - that's great you've got loads of old books to sell - let us know how much you make on them. All the pennies add up!

    Goooood afternoon all!!

    Phew what a weekend!!! :D

Had a wonderful day yesterday, I won tickets for us all to go to see the premiere of Return to Rainspell Island in Leicester Square, so we went to see that, then went to the Tower of London, then tea in Bella Italia!!

And oh boy was Martin on my shoulder lol :rotfl:

    Get this.....
Parked in Hammersmith, £9 for the day
Tube day tickets for me & DH, £5.60 each (DDs free)
Free popcorn & bottled water in film premiere
Free buffet and entertainment at party after film premiere
Couple of sandwiches & sausage rolls to fill up after film premiere: £5.30
Entrance to Tower of London - £53 (£50 paid in Tesco vouchers) : £3
Meal at Bella Italia - £42 (£30 paid in Tesco vouchers) : £12

So total of real money spent - £34.90
Which was funded by the £40 I won last week on work lottery bonus ball!!! :j:j:j
Am soooooo chuffed, there was a time when we would have spent three or four times that, without even thinking about it!!!!! And we had a brilliant day, even the weather wasnt too bad!!

    Today so far:

    - checked online banking
    - DH made yummy roast dinner
    - listed 13 things onto turbo lister ready for uploading to ebay tonight
    - listed 17 things onto turbo lister for stepson ready for uploading tonight (now should I charge him commission....:rotfl:)
    - two lots of hokey cokey
    - phoned tesco credit card & cancelled the account as they were going to increase the rate. So time to chop it up. That means we now have NO active credit card(gulp.) But on the bright side, will reach the DFD sooner!!!

    Still to do -
    - all comps ending 10/05
    - Watch Doctor Who from last night (did start but fell asleep!!)

And its our wedding anniversary today....12 years for me and Mr Mogchops!! :heart2:
