Is anyone finding Ebay sales very slow?

I would love to know what you all sell. Not because I want to compete, but just because I am nosy! Understand that ain't going to happen though ... lol.

I've been trying to sell some clothes on there but now that the categories have changed - just 'girls clothing' instead of by age or dress, trouser, top etc i'm finding it really annoying trying to find items on there so maybe other buyers are getting miffed too and not bothering.

Power seller status is on turnover not feedback, The basic power seller status starts at £750 monthly turnover based on a 3 month estimate and it goes up sharply from there.

lol, i was thinking the same, i'm in awe of the amount of stuff people sell and wonder how the hell power sellers manage to sell so much without going insane :eek:

i've been selling off my kids clothes that are like new and bits and bobs found around the house that i've had for years and never used (thought they where a great buy at the time :rolleyes::o)

tbh i've not sold a great deal but what i have sold has had me pulling my hair out with panic and my fees so far far outweigh anything i've made clicked out gallery feature instead of gallery for a bundle on clothes that didn't even sell, cost me over £15 for that one listing alone

i've no intention of competing with anyone cos my nerves couldn't take it lol but i am really nosy and curious to know what people sell, i'd have to sell the whole contents of my home to become a powerseller and even then i'd not get much for them :rotfl:

As soolin says power seller levels are based on value and number of items sold rather than feedback score. We are currently gold powersellers which is above £6K per month. Platinum powerseller status is £15000 in sales on average over a 3 month period.

We sell home and garden products (when I say "we" I run the eBay shop for a high street retailer)

We currently have about 100 items listed.
