Is anyone finding Ebay sales very slow?

I always find the summer holidays really slow, so this year I decided not to even bother.
I have spent the time sorting through bits and pieces, writing up descriptions in word, taking photos and loading onto the computer. So once September comes I'll be already and waiting to list.
Good luck to everyone who has listed

For me it seems to start up again in September or the last few days of August.0

I had time off for a few months and when I got back to it end of July I was surprised how much I was selling. Lots of bids, high prices... it was a lovely week! Since then I have sold... one solitary item, for its starting bid. Not sure whether to carry on, as the fees are mounting for no reason. Instead I find myself buying. Clothes. Which never fit.:wall:0

i agree its slow at the moment
like said people are on holiday or spending money on taking their children out in the school hols etc
i find it picks up when the kids go back to school ,and people think OMG its september = almost xmas lol0 -
Don't worry everyone, I've started to do my xmas shopping and I buy alot of it on Ebay, I like to buy unusal things and it's the best place. I'm sure it will pick up. On the upside it seems August is a good time for us buyers to pick up bargains.Nice to save.0

Vianna - hope you're looking at my items then!!! Good luck with the Christmas pressie search.
Ebay has been deadly quiet, but on the other hand, I've done quite a few boot sales this summer, and they've gone better than ever.Overpay!0 -
Glad others are finding the same! I put my product on last Thursday, and sold 2 friday am, absolutely nothing since! Am relatively new (only this year) on Ebay, but this is the first real flop I have experienced. Other auctions for this item have been really quite good, but as far as I can see, just not getting the visitors at the moment. Too much else going on?0

I don't believe i'm saying this but i'm finding this so far to be my busiest month ever so far. My official busiest month was April with 299 sales, now upto today this month i'm on 178 sales. At this rate I will beat my best ever record.0

My auctions which I listed on the recent 10p listing day finished today, and the items which sold at all made disappointing prices, most with only one bid. I listed a few things today/yesterday (10p listing for clothes, shoes and accessories) so I hope they don't do as badly. If they do, I might give up on cheap listing days for a while.0
