Is anyone finding Ebay sales very slow?

The way my clothes sales are going at the moment it would be better to make rag rugs out of them.0

I listed a lot of my old books last week and I was suprised and pleased that 68% of them sold, some had several bids but most were just 1 bid.
Now all I have to do is get the other 100+ listed...........arghhhhh
On the other hand I had a few high value items listed and not a sausage on them. I got a couple of low offers but no bids. Still good thing I am in no hurry to sell so I will just relist them.0 -
Had a new computer up for sale, good specs all bids came last hour of listing and the highest bid would not cover a seconed hand computer. £132
One bright spark e-mailed me with a £165 offer that wouldn`t cover costs.Yet. all the buy now wait two weeks for it seem to be doing great business. That`s life0 -
I have just sold my first item on ebay (a cd) I thought i would just try it to see how much hassle it was going to be. I was reasonably pleased with the price i got but i did notice there wern't many bids. Should i wait till september before listing anything else? My eldest son moves out soon and i am going to use his room to keep all my stuff in. Plus he will be having a good clear out so there will be a few things there.
many thanks mandyLife may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0 -
One thing I did notice was that some of my items which only got one bid had several watchers. Usually, if I have 7 watchers on an item I expect at least 2 bids. It would seem that there are more people wanting to sell than wanting to buy atm.0

Very busy up until about 7 days and has gradually got quieter, can't complain made a bomb may, june, july and first half of Aug. Letting all my auctions end now as I am on holiday in just over a week. Does it get really busy again towards xmas.0

i had one last week (usually sells between 90 and 110 on auction) started the bidding at 60 had 18 watchers and it didnt even get a bid  I was amazed i really was, relisted it on one day listing the next day and it sold for £121 with only 3 watchers

I have items that are usually snapped up within 2 days of me listing them, they all eventually sell pretty soon, however now its just been sitting there and i even had to relist some of them, so yeah very slow for me.

Sales have been really strong during the heatwave in July but in the last couple of weeks its been really quiet....shame because we were getting really close to Platinum powerseller status. I blame school holidays etc for the slow down
I am very interested to see what sort of impact christmas has on sales! We only started trading on eBay at the end of Feb so do not have any figures from last year to compare with.0
