clearly not. but i was merely pointing out that the accusation of germ transference was a red herring. breathing can transfer germs.

spitting is clearly a more aggressive act than coughing but it is not physically harmful. it is more of an emotional offense. and gross.

Why do you think spitting is offensive if it was never related to contamination?

Most non physical offences often hail back from history so I think you are wrong. The whole idea of spitting is to direct your bodily fluids at your foe ( I can think of worse ones but not so easy to produce on the spot.)
If they are contaminated is not really the point it is the intent.

How quickly we forget history in this new horizon we live in.

Maybe, but from experience the better person keeps away from the confrontation.

You seem to have a belief that 2 wrongs make a right.
If you want people like the BNP to go from society (I do for one) it is best not to give them the ammunition and the air time they need to get support.

I would of thought with you being in media would accept that.
