Is this or is it not coming out in the uk?
Is what? The Incredible and the Evo are both US only phones as far as I'm aware. Everything I've read says we will not get the Incredible over here but the US will not get the Desire. It's my problem, it's my problem

I would say no, but I've tried to find a definitive answer on the web and there doesn't seem to be one. It was released in the US on 29th April only as a dual band. SPEC The only thing it seems to have that the Desire doesn't is an 8mp camera with dual LED flash (the Desire has only one LED flash.) Despite what others have said, there is NO more memory on the Incredible than the Desire, both will take a micro SD up to 32gb. In fact, the Desire has more RAM with 576mb, against the Incredible's 512mb. Both have 512mb ROM and a 1ghz Snapdragon processor.0 -

From the link you provided
Memory Flash 8GB + 512MB/RAM 512MB
So it has 8GB of internal flash storage in addition to the memory card storage, the Desire does not have this. It's my problem, it's my problem

That'll teach me to read the spec first lol.

Is there a hierarchy where one can view the best featureset to the poorest featureset? Is this how one is expected to make the choice of different phones? I am looking to upgrade to a HTC but am somewhat confused with the plethora of different but almost the same within the HTC range.
Thanks
The differences are 1) form factor is the handset touch screen, does it include gps or agps, wifi connectivity?
2) what operating system does it use, eg android, windows, other (this will 'restrict' what suitable apps maybe available)0 -

I have a trip to the US coming up in August. Is it worthwhile buying one of the htc phones while there? eg HTC incredible? would it work in this country? would I have to pay import duty (or VAT)?0

HTC said they wouldn't be doing a GSM version. As with the Bravo / Desire, it seems to have gone through several name changes in testing. It was originally called the EVO, then the Supersonic before they settled on the Incredible.0
