    Hello All!:j
Big waves and huggles to everyone!
I have really missed you. Are you ready for the longest post in dribbler history? Here it goes anyway:

Mambury – thanks for the mumpreneur link – it looks good going to follow up on that for sure.

Mabel – I missed you too! I know I say this every day, but almost done with the website. It was just work became extremely hectic. Bum kick for the article. Hope that the room reorganising went well too. Also how is the medication change going so far?

Nixi – massive hugs and I hope that DS is getting better. Poor mite xxx

HHH – well done on the ebay sales that is fantastic. Also I know it is a bit back on the thread but sorry for what you have been through. But, also impressed by your strength and resolve to move forwards.

M&P – Lol at the other half being stung. Can’t stop schadenfreude!:)

Toots - great news about DS! Glad that he is okay. Respect your decision on the challenge it has to be enjoyable otherwise what is the point.

NLID – working on it! Something for you soon! What a nice husband you are – lovely mini move.

Cagne – good luck for the operation! I am sure that it will go fine! Also well done on the car boot sale.

Amber – have you sorted mascara yet? Happy to post you stuff if needs be. The market stall sounds like a good idea.

Poosmate – welcome to the thread

Nikki – Excellent on your total, you have done brilliantly! Well done you! Chilean snail cream sounds good let me know how it works.:T

Em – I wish I knew you were doing the moonwalk no one I know wanted to do it I would have loved to join you. Well done on signing up for it though!:T

Jo – love the mini moves they have been great – managed to do most of them, just didn’t get a chance to post.:)

Skintbint – well done on all those orders. And I have the same problem pricing jobs too, HHH gave really good advice there.

Munchki – glad to hear that the flat is coming together. Hope that Paddy is okay too!

As for me it has been crazy, made another £91 on a mini web project. Have been offered three projects two website and one branding by another client. The day job I have in corporate reception had been getting busier and busier, initially jumped at the job as it was a near empty building but now it is filling up more and more and with everyone back after the volcanic ash and easter holidays – I am just trying to get the balance back.

On top of that the main company that I work for ask for short turn around on a couple of projects, which is great as they have already told me that they have more that they want to work on.

I have been also approached by a sponsor for my blog! I am really shocked but I have given myself a timeline and don’t want to look at sponsorship until September.
The bad and the ugly part is that I botched home face peel and have burnt myself ouch!!! Most of the burns are minor and look like mild sunburn; but the worst parts are bright red patches and being Black, it looks bloody scary I was going to post a picture but it is isn't appropriate before tea time. I have done the peels for over a year, but this is the first time that it has ever gone wrong. I know it will heal, but it will take a little bit of time. Until then I look like Freddie Kreuger lite.

Can’t believe that I missed election night with you guys too! Unbelievable, looks like we are going to get a con-lib coalition government in a roundabout way that could be a good solution as the cuts will not be to savage, but although I am loathe to say this the conservatives tend to be better for businesses. I just can’t stand David Cameron for some reason, like Tony Blair 2.0 smooth words but very little substance.

On the BNP, being a British Ghanaian obviously not keen – I mean if they want to give me £50,000 because I am cute and they want me succeed in the dribblers challenge cool (want to try and ascertain how that will work out for removing mixed race people. Or do you just chop off their legs instead?).

But, based on their extremely dodgy views, belief in racial supremacy, inborn criminality and low I.Q of ethnic minorities, links with the Ku Klux Klan, Holocaust denial, and their love of Hitler I can't stomach them.

The funny thing is I did the politics quiz on facebook and I was 50% BNP and 47% UKIP, the irony; I must secretly hate myself. And I am always stealing the last bar of choccy at home so that must be my inborn black criminality ***whistles** (semi satirical rant over). Nothing wrong with being proud of being British, but when it is attached to a party that believes in eugenics there are a few large issues there.

Other than that, I am fine other than having a face that looks like a semi barbecued sausage.
    Big hugs to all!

wow, now that is quite possibly the longest posts I have ever seen :D

Glad you are ok, other than the face....oops! ummm, is there a cream, or something you can put on it to speed the healing?

Nikki - good luck with the interview, just make sure you don't overdo it with all the work!

Dissappearing to finish the tidying and get more carp out to list later, I think Dominos is calling my name tonight, CBA to cook, not when I have just spent 3 hours cleaning the kitchen, I want it to stay clean, just for a little while!

Heya, M&P I am using savlon wound wash to make sure that it doesn't get infected. Also have some antiseptic cream, have to use sunblock on the burnt area to make sure that it doesn't get damaged so I have just treated myself to some Elemis clear sunblock SPF30 otherwise I am going to have some serious hyperpigmentation.

Mabel - well done on finishing the article hun x

Well DD has come home with a letter about a German exchange. To her credit she did say if it was too close to her trip to France with the youth orchestra she wouldn't go, but she is keen on doing French and German for GCSE so it would be good for her. So she would be in France for 12 days in August, then Germany for 8 days in October, then we would have a German (exchange) child for 8 days March/April next year, and assuming she wants to continue with the youth orchestra we would then have either a French or a German child for 12 days next August for that! Phew! So that's £290 for youth orchestra (plus spends) and £225 for the German exchange (plus spends). To be honest though, I'm grateful and slightly amazed that she is confident enough to do it - I would have died sooner than done that at her age.

So anyway, I've given her the "if you want things like this you need to be more help around the house as I'm running myself ragged while you listen to music and chat to your friends on MSN" talk, and as a result she is making dinner tonight. Not sure it will last long, but I'll enjoy it while it does!

oh Dilli, you poor thing! At least you are being sensible about looking after it. Elemis is one of my favs, hopefully it won't take long to heal. x

Mabel - weel done on the article, food shopping....just remember cheesecake is the devil in disguise!

2Cats - wow, you DD is a model daughter! It is good that she is interested in it all, going to be an expensive summer for you though. if she follows it through to degree level, then she will be gone for an entire year. I had planned to do that with French, but flopped quite badly at A level :( My mum used to make my little brother cook dinner once a week in exchange for lifts to parties, so I would say that she has got it quite easy....for now!

She is planning on doing music for her degree. She really wants to go to conservatoire/music college which would be a 4 year performance course with entry by audition, but will apply to some universities as backup. They do entry on A level grades, but there is a lot more history/theory of music in a uni course and she is all about performance. That's partly why she is doing stuff like this youth orchestra exchange as she will be playing proper orchestral repertoire stuff and studying with top notch conductors, so that will be a real string to her bow, quite literally! I can see her doing one language for A level though. She is thinking music, French/German, maths and psychology at the moment, but she's only 12 so things may change!
