Maybe the push to seriously look at options may unearth some options/opportunities for you both that you don't know about yet. I hope so.

true.... I hope that he will get something that makes him happier.... I just don't fancy having to do the whole house, business, kids thing on my own during the week. It wouldn't be so bad if I had family round to help share the stress....

grrrr to the boss Mambury.....horrible when they do things on a friday. I had a indirect manager who was trying to get me to leave a job (eventually succeeded but iyt cost them:) ) and she told me that I was going to be investigated for misconduct (I hadn't done anything wrong, my face just didn't fit any more as they were doing a cull of x-directors favourite staff) just as soon as she got back from her 2 week holiday ...... nice way to make me stew for 2 weeks...... I had a very big pay out and left before she got backLife is a work in progress0

That sounds really rubbish, Mambury. I hope something pops up and sorts it all out...
Have just had an interesting conversation with OH about the inlaws, I'm feeling very confused now. Hmmmms.

Mambury - eeeeeeeeee time to definately jump ship, but feel for you with other half being grumpy chops!
Rosie - hows the o/h? has he ome results still yo get? (but not the dreaded ones)
Jo- just think more money in the pot
how is everyone else, hope Elly is having a good time in Wales.
well went shopping for DS school stuff (ours go back Tuesday)and ended up in Primark (again) more chrissy presents bought, you know those towelling ponchos for kiddies - got 3, all down to a pound each! so thats a little extra to put in with 3yro neices parcel, will find a home for the other two no doubt, they had more jammys at £2 was going to buy lots at size 20/22 and put on fleabay nearer christmas but thought i'd spent enough by that time might pop back on Sunday though and get back into ebaying again for the weeks i dont have cake orders as i havent done anything on there for the last couple of months. Have a cake order for tomorrow so will maybe use that money to buy bits and pieces, you never know i might just update my signature (not that there is much to add!). Cupcakes tomorrow (:() so after shopping today sat for a while making cup cake wrappers - no way am i paying £8 - £10 for 12- managed to make a template and just used wrapping paper then got some doileys and made the rest out of them, so for 50 wrappers comes to about £1.75 to make and that way i can use the cheaper cases and it looks a lot more effective, made some as little baskets too. sorry rambling on but got to get thi thread moving again - Elly will think we've all been slacking (as if!)skintbint x

It was 7 years ago now Jo - and it was really bad, that was just the icing on the cake. They had already paid off over 10 members of staff, and I was one of the last ones, they made it unbearable..... I was in tears at the thought of going to work every day...it took me quite a while to get over it, still can't handle the thought of working for someone. Got 5 figures after just 2 years of working there...just wish I had been a bit wiser with it
Skint I think you have made the right choice, fab bargains!!!
Hi Jo, glad your neck is a bit better, and that the ducks are enjoying the weather
