Jo - got them out of primark - all half price, find their pj's are great value, fed up paying a fortune for pj's that shrink in the drier

Does anyone know of a good place to sell registration numbers? There seems to be a lot of sites that advertise but I don't know what is a good one or not.

have you tried selling privately - scot ads used to have them listed in the car section - would really depend on what it is though, would maybe list it in the aberdeen and also the tayside edition - worth a try withit being free, not sure of the cost of transfering through DVLA

I started to look at sites that are offering money for them but similar numbers are being advertised for sale for a lot more money. I don't know if I should try & sell them myself or if anyone knows a good company that will buy them & pay a good price.

The valuations I got initially seemed good but when I looked at similar numbers there was a lot of difference in the price.

would be tempted to try privately first, but check what costs involved. thats maybe why the resale is a lot higher than the offers you've had

thanks for that jo - I'm not afraid of competition by any means. I WILL NOT GIVE UP! I Just need to change my marketing plan a bit!! I am still planning to sell on amazon, it just makes it a little harder when the other company is top of the listing rather than me!!!

I think it was complete and utter coincidence that they got there first.... I kept the product off here so hey ho...

Em - trifle factory :). I got sacked from a bakery (well factory really). I was supposed to be making airline deserts.

Skint - was it you that mentioned about little jam jars? I too am planning for xmas!!

Anyone know where I can get little bottles? I am planning to do flavoured vodka for my brother in law.... just need little bottles for the different flavours.....

off show shopping with the kids today :( wish me luck!

hi Mambury - stick in with the Amazon.

it was me who mentioned the little jam jars, not much in at the moment - only 12 mini jars marmalade for a £1 i think, lots of bigger jars including chutneys, fancy mayo's and of course jam - most for about 60p - always quiet at this time of year but will keep popping in to see what they have and let you know.
Decided to take the bull by the horns and have contactd a local farmers market (my sister said she would help) and also an organiser of a wedding fair . got two enquiries yesterday for orders but dont think i will get at least one of them as they werre to get back to me think she was shocked at the price (£40), i dont think i charge too much but i suppose some people want something for nothing - she wanted it for tonight or tomorrow night and it was to be football themed so i think 40 was cheap at half the price!
away to do a bit of weeding before the rain comes on - looking like we may get another downpour- noticed a nip in the air this morning - doesnt help i left the living room windows open! then the pile of ironing that will take me about 3 hours - one day i will be rich and pay somebody else to do it!
right catch up later if i dont move now i never will and have a rhubard crumble to throw together for lunchtime

skint "i will be rich" bint

    Morning all.
    Jo congratulations on the job

Mambury so sorry you didn't get the Amazon thing.

Skint Your cakes are NOT expensive. Some people don't realise how much time and effort it takes. If anything I think you are too cheap.

Emm you made me laugh out loud being demoted to sponges.

Paula how did the wedding go.

Saucy don't let the inlaws get you down. You will soon be in sunny Spain.
    Hugs to all.
