    hey Em
big hugs. Thanks for sharing. wonder what you would rather have on your bedside table and what about the things that are there seems carp. sometimes my books make feel carp when I'm feeling down on myself as I don't feel I live up to them. starting to see that for everyone its all a a process and books are a distillation of what helps/ inspires people and not a testament to how amazingly other people live their lives compared to us.
Is it other stuff such as work/ OH/ unfulfilled ideas and plans that is behind you feeling down and leading you to see your stuff in a negative light?
maybe go back in your room and find some things that you feel happy with and think about things about you that are great too. bet you can think of 6 things you do well if you really try.
Be kind to yourself when you are having a bad day. You deserve kindness and not harshness.

hey EM.... sounds much more intersting than mine... currently sporting a thick layer of dust (see Skint!!), an odd assortment of books, calamine lotion (DS now has the pox!!) and an arrangement of tea towels that DD said I am not allowed to touch!

I have just about had enough for today. Blasted site is playing silly !!!!!!s, and after about 2 hours sleep last night I am turning in early.

    How is everyone else today?

lol mambury. my bed is also sporting a creation that must not be moved. however as it is a giant crab made out of 3 in use duvets it will have to be dismantled very soon.
hope DS doesn't get too itchy and you get some sleep tonight.
    hugs

    Hi All,

Some of you may remember me from when this challenge first started, some may not! I contributed some of the links that are on the first page, nice to see they are still there and hopefully they have helped a few of you out! :)

This is now me just getting round to actually attempting to put into practice what i posted so long ago!

I wanted to ask about one of the links i added...Free auction templates. (link on first page) Does/Did anyone use them and did you see a difference in sales or anything than just a standard auction page with a few lines of text?

I'm considering using them just to make my auctions stand out a little more from the rest. I know alot of the business sellers etc use them. Just curious if any private sellers use them too for selling bits and pieces, nothing specific, just the usual non needed stuff you find lying around the house!

I've made a new ebay account so i can seperate the buying/selling, was thinking about just jumping in with a more professional look from the beginning. I know alot of buyers are weary of buying from new ebayers. I'll just be starting with a few books i no longer need, not a big profit i know but hopefully will get me some good feedback to start off with (if they sell of course!)

Anyway, if anyone does use them and they don't mind posting a link to have a look at that would be good!

    :)

Personally I don't bother.... Simple plain text, easy to read, to the point (bulleted normally) and a few hosted pics (usually photbucket etc)

Why are you using your new id for selling? Surely, as long as you have good feedback and dsr's then using the old one for selling would make more sense?

    Hi All,
I don't bother either. I agree with mambury though keep your old account as having some ratings will make selling easier for you.

The reason being that i would like to buy things on my main account and sell them on again. Obviously i don't want buyers being able to see what i paid for it originally. Other reason is that i don't want my friends/family seeing what i'm up to, That probably sounds a bit silly but i want to do this for myself and the less they know the better!

F&F know your ebay id?? Ahhh.... in that case, use new id, buy some cheap bits and pieces not related to what you want to sell to get a little feedback, or have a clear out at home to build up a little feedback. I noticed that since I hit the 200 mark sales are coming in better. Good idea to keep buying/selling id's separate

remember though, if you are buying to sell on then you must reg as a business with ebay and with hmrc. Read up on the DSR's and make sure your T&C are legal.

Hi Mambury I am fine thanks. You must be tired out though dealing with your site and poor son with chicken pox. Hope he feels better soon and you get a good nights sleep tonight.
