    Ok, silly question.

If I arrange a courier for my laptop do I need to drop the parcel off at the couriers office or do they pick it up from me?

    Completely confused lol.

Have you got a link for them? Argh, i'm such a novice at this.

I've clingfilmed the laptop, wrapped it in a black bag to waterproof. I'm going to buy some bubble wrap and then put it in an avon box. DOes this sound like it will be packaged alright?

should be okay.... try to stop the laptop from moving in the box, you could use screwed up newspaper to fill the gaps....

Ok, laptops packed in a layer of clingfilm then a black bag. Then its in a bubble wrapped envelope then its been put in a box and packed with paper - hopefully should be ok!

Interparcel classed my laptop as a restricted item so I couldn't use them :(. Used parcel2go and its being shipped by parcel force. £21 for 12am delivery and full compo. Not bad (did see cheaper) but the guy did pay £20 and I wanted to be fully covered in case of any damage etc.

Uuuugh i'm so tired. What a rubbish Monday. I'm sat in a dark room feeling sorry for myself! Just been staring at my bedside table thinking what an odd collection of stuff - a koala, a harmonica, some neem tree cream, a couple of books on buddhism and some notepads - oh and snail cream of course. what on earth goes through my head?! Right, i'm going to paint the hall and make packed lunches for the students and then walk the dog. That should sort me out. Hope everyone else is ok? - hugs to those who need them x

  • I like you sharing, Em. Sounds like an odd bunch of things though, lol!
I've had a pretty rubbish day too. Hmm. And I'm being driven mad by the inlaws now....
Painting the hall sounds fun but don't be too hard on yourself, and enjoy your walk. And I'm not sure if its possible to enjoy making sandwiches...I'm a rubbish sandwich maker!

I'll stop rambling. Hugs back :)

wow, Em - you've not mentioned dust on your bedside table!

hope your feeling better and more content once you've blitzed the hall and walked the dog.
