i know mabel and that like the smirkenville thing and that toots you have done a great job with it but i have to say i was doing well keeping up with one thread on a forum.i had actually made myself do other jobs first and reading the thread was my treat .the problem i find is that the new forum on loads of different threads and i'm sorry to say i can't be arsed opening each thread for one post am i being lazy and same everyone saying its private and more open but really i was struggling with checking here and facebook without having to do three .i think i might just be grumpy from busy weekend but i think i like it here . god i sound like a bag lol but the dribble was fun and interesting because it was random.i want to talk today here .
news flash town planner gets evicted from smirkeville i'm next door dribbling in the river that devides it from smirkingtree .

Hi Elly, I don't think you are being miserable at all, I know exactly what you mean. I think it will settle down in time so that we use this board for the chit chat and use Smerkinville when it is something more specific. At the moment it is all new and sparkly, but it will settle down soon. I agree it is much easier to catch up on here than go through lots of little threads, and when I get back to work next week I will probably struggle to keep up with both too. Also, as people inevitably drop out of the dribblers, we are joined by new dribblers and if we just used S'ville, that wouldn't happen. In fairness, I don't think Toots or Jo have any intention of S'ville replacing this thread, it is just a useful extra.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad week, we have a whole new one tomorrow, fingers crossed it is a better one ;)

joey i had a really busy week was the problem i've had a bebo and facebook account for the last 2.5 years and hardly used them, think hubby was quite concerned when i took up the challenge sure he thought i was on an internet dating site lol .but i liked the whole challenge thing ,the variety of people and the village feel it had to it . i just dont have the time to do them all .i did express my concern about the other site being closed doors but like you it was nice that now and again a new member would join in chances are it would have been quiet over the summer anyway . hope you have a good day and thanks for your thoughts

Morning all, took a complete break this weekend as I am starting to get mental overload...

Checked my finances and I am happy to say that I have paid off a little over £2000 from my debt, seeing some of that figure disappear has made me feel really happy. Getting out of debt isn’t easy but I feel really proud of myself.

Other than just reviewing my timetable, I just want to free up some more time for myself. I don’t think I have slept so much in a long time... I felt so drained : )
    Hugs to all!
