Jo, I think you and I were as bad as each other last night!! LOL I did really enjoy the chat however just could not believe I could not sleep save my life last night.
Going to dig out scissors and such a bit later and put friendship books together, wont take long. Still sat here trying to decide what I want to eat, know I should eat just not sure I am bothered at the moment to be honest. Did get my fav quorn mince however so might make something with that. Very humid and sticky here at the moment but at least there is a breeze!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Hello munchki and jo
Just sat talking with a mate on msn, bless her she is so confused. This is the same mate who I mentioned wanted to go travelling with her children, shes now decided shes going vegan, just like that, and is starting her own business. I can't keep up with her. I am currently trying to tell her she needs to register as a business if she plans on selling stuff but shes confident she doesnt until she starts making some serious money. I just feel like I am banging my hed against a brick wall with her most of the time.0 -
munchki I went to bed again at 4 and DD woke me up at 4.15 but only for a few minutes. so no way did I get up with DH although it woke me up a little but then kids woke up about 8.45. bleurgh.
my own fault though. but like you could just not sleep last night. tried bed twice.
anyway I should sleep tonight lol once I've survived the barbecue. haha.
Enjoyed the chat too.

Babymoo. maybe just look it up on the directgov website and email her the link. sometimes people just do not want to hear and its easy to get drawn in to trying to persuade them. giving her the clear facts means she can then take notice or not and you can know you have given her accurate information.
She sounds like she really is looking for something but doesn't know what. perhaps she feels a bit tied down or scared about the commitment of having kids.

I wish I knew Jo, am leaving her with it. Ive given her all the information I can and told her to go to the directgov website, she says she already has and its common sense what she is saying and I really should know.
She moves around a hell of a lot, she was adopted when she was little and doesnt know her birth mum and her adoptive parents used to abuse her so I think she has had a very unstable upbringing and I think she is just tryin to over compensate for it somehow. I guess all I can do is be here for her if/when it comes crashing down.0 -

I've never dyed my hair, but it's sooooooo grey now that I'm so very very tempted. Never wanted to as I know that if I start, I'll have to keep doing it....... gulp!

Lol toots, this is the first time I have had my natural hair colour since I was 13. I love dying my hair but it got so lank from having colour put on colour I had to just let it grow out, I had lots of blonde highlights put through it so that it wouldnt look like it had been dyed and then let it grow out. My hair is much healthier now but my gosh do I miss dying my hair!! Purple was my fave colour by far!!0

aargh my hair is my reaching my 40th birthday crisis. its getting so grey and been so long since it was cut. I used to have highlights and lowlights all the time but the only local places that I trust are expensive. so how can I afford to get my hair the way I want it when I have practically zero budget for it. Grrr. and even if I did it as a treat for my birthday with some birthday money I couldn't afford to maintain it. wanted to be feeling good about my appearance by my birthday but its about 2 weeks away and unlikely to happen. think there is probably something in here for me to learn and maybe let go of but its quite persistent at the moment.

Jo, can you not go to a student, is there maybe a college near you? Lol while I'm typing this I'm watching an American wife swap where one of the women is a 'high-maintenance' rich woman and the other hasn't shaved her armpits for ten years and the second one's saying 'Life is not all about your hairstyle' hehe!
I want to dye mine lots of silly colours but I can't face my grandma's disappointed little face if I did. So I can't lol. xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0
