    Hello everyone.
Glad to see 2 cats and munchki back and everything going well.

Mabel good luck for tomorrow but I'm sure you will be fine.

Thanks Jo for the giant leap. We could all do with extra money but there are many things that are much more important. I wouldn't trade my friends and family for all the money in the world.
A very good friend of mine has just retired but still has a mortgage so is on a very tight budget. She has a bad back and goes for a massage every week and thought she would have to give this up as she couldn't really afford it but her massage lady asked her if she would do her ironing in return for her massage. My friend was well chuffed. It would be great if we could all swap talents (unfortunately I don't have any lol) and use money just for the bare necessities.

Had a hooray moment today as we had our homegrown strawberries for tea.

You see my niece's wedding was done a lot like that. They already had their house etc. and so they didn't need plates and toasters, so I did the photos and photo album for them, another friend made the wedding cake, another made a cupcake tower for the party afterwards, and so on. It was very much a sharing of talents thing, and it was really nice. I do try to do things by trading if at all possible.
