    Hi everyone, sorry i've not been very chatty - i over-indulged at a beer festival on Friday night and have been paying the price ever since. It's only now that i can think to string sentences together! I hope everyone's well. If i get things muddled, i apologise! Hi Babymoo and Jo.
    Skint -sorry to hear about your dramas - that sounds a horrid experience for you all. I hope the Police take a pragmatic, balanced view of it all.
    Speaking of which, Nixi i'd definitely ring through to the Police and pass on the information. I'd ask to speak to the duty sergeant and just run it by him/her. It's unlikely that they'll act on this at all - the only way they'll act is if they have some prior knowledge of the occupant in which case it could be relevant info for managing any known risks. If they don't already know him/ have him registered, they're likely to just create a log and use it in the event of any other concerns being raised in the future. I wouldn't worry about interfering - they'll use their professional judgement to treat the info with discretion - they'll also ensure your identity is anonymous as the source.
    Elly - sounds lovely having a beach hut shed :) which colours are you thinking of...? I'd have white with a multi-coloured stripy door but like i said before my taste can be unconventional. I don't like naff things but i can have childish taste in some respects - i like a world full of colour :) mind you all my walls are white.
    Toots - i've had a couple of migraines this week - for me it's the muggy weather, i always have them without fail when there's a storm brewing (not alcohol induced :))
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

    Paulabear – aargh on the Ragdolls – that’s the sort of thing nightmares are made of!!

    Skint, I got my blinds back to Ikea and they took them back with no questions asked and gave me a £50 refund (in the form of a gift card), so I would like to add that to my total please, and thank you for the challenge which got me off my bum and sorting it out.

    Just about to go onto ebay and get a few bits listed – last chance for this load as I have decided to carboot them and actually wasn’t going to bother again until I saw the free listing. So I may just get to the £100 if I work hard. Yay!

    Toots, sorry to hear about your migraine. Never suffered with them myself but from other peoples' description of them I think I'd be in bed for weeks if I had them. I'm such a wimp where pain is concerned.

    Skint, I don't know if it's possible but is there any way of attaching a cupcake inside a little gift box so that it can be posted? I was just thinking how nice it would be to send a cupcake with the same basic theme as your wedding cake will be, but with the invitation attached. You could offer it as an extra service along with the wedding cake. Or maybe (I think this is done already though) have the same thing in little boxes on the table for guests to take home with them, rather than them taking pieces of the actual cake home. You could have your label on the base of the box to make sure anyone receiving it knows where to get them if they want to do the same. Ooh, half wish I was getting married now, I'd definitely do this!

    Anyway enough thinking about cake, ebay, here I come.

    Ooh, Nixi - I've heard back from that journalist who wants to film me next week with the kittens for Animal 24-7. I've been umming and arrhing about it, but with the challenge you have just set, it's kind of made up my mind. It will take me so far out of my comfort zone it's scary, but I know I can do it! And I can always console myself that no-one will understand my Yorkshire accent anyway, so doesn't really matter what I say :p

    Hey all :-) Beach hut sounds fab! A nice summer sky blue :-)

    Have spent all day out of my comfort zone building a trellis/ gate around my veg patch- all by myself! Its six feet tall and I didn't ampitate any limbs with the saw either :-)

    OH's mum has given me her small pvc covered greenhouse, needs a new cover but have seen them on Amazon.
    Hope everyones having a good day :-)
