Really good news Jo. woohoo! Its horrid when they are ill - when we were in hospital with my DS all I wanted was my little boy who non stop is asking me questions that I can't answer...think the last one was 'mummy if hot air rises why is it cold in space?' lol really glad the meds are working and doing there job!Life is a work in progress0

Jo - so happy to hear that DS is starting to feel a bit better now and even more happy that you can now take a deep breath, breathe out slowly and relax a little bit again.
M&P - wow sounds like you have been busy, well done you!
Mable - ummmm you can keep the bowl lol
Joey - you could have at least saved me a crumb from the meringues lol
Amber - lovely to see you again
Babymoo- men cant live with em and can live without em hehehh
Nixi - there you are and I will have you know after laughing my silly head off last night with you it took me ages to settle to be able to sleep hehheeh.....a big thank you, albeit a little sleepy one!
Hello to everyone else and I know I have probably missed something.........sorry
Well off to the sorting office in the morning to collect what I hope is the missing link to sewing machine problem hehehe, then will choose my 5 starting fabrics out of the 15 I have wittled it down to!!
Tonight I came home did the laundry in the bath again, really think I am getting the hang of it now and hung it out to dry. did a quick run around the house and tidied, not much to do with just me and the cat here, changed the bedding and just need to do a quick tidy in the kitchen.
Really could not be bothered to cook, the novelty of the microwave is stretching my creativity to the limits now and just was not interested tonight. so oat cakes and cheese and the last of the choccie ice cream straight from the container was my tea tonight lol, not terribly healthy but hey it is friday night!!!
Just sat here chilling tonight, dont have to worry about work in the morning so may dig out my stitching and do a few bits to finish 3 projects I currently have going and am desperate to start on a new one that will be promptly given away (like most of the stitching I do) as soon as it is finished. No plans at all for the weekend as I still find it rather difficult to venture out on my own for long yet, but am getting there. Never really noticed the control during the marriage but have certainly noticed it since the split but gets better day by day!! Overall life is grand and I am really really happy, albeit a bit lonely but get by all the same.
How is everyone else doing this evening, that is if anyone is still awake after this mammoth post lol xxI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -
Just a quick one tonight, it's been a long day and my eyes are stinging so need some sleep. Managed to bag some barganous waybuloo party items so they're on ebay tonight, hoping that will help towards my £100 total, though not sure I'll get it in time.0

well shed came and is all in the back gaden ready to be erected tomorrow, turns out fil is going to help dh put up that massive erection lol so i will be free tomorrow to do keyrings might go design a flyer re the party bags .
best thing that happened was the guy who delivered it made us take the pallets so we dont have to buy 4 fence panels or have them delivered reckon i saved at least the £20 for the £100 challenge whooohoo didnt think i was going to find it recycled or otherwise. we also used the plastic that it was wrapped in as weed blocker so more money saved by recycling feel like the kids when they both did the enviroment project at school next thing i will be checking numbers under bottles to see where the go.
jo think the dairy thing is more related to ear infections but so pleased your ds is better.
god i am knackered .So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0 -
Jo, yes they an be, I have been known on a very regular basis to not even open the front the door til monday morning or worse I can go a whole weekend and basically never hear the sound of my own voice, but with the funny and now very mixed up accent prob not always a bad thing lolI am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0

Elly DS had really bad silent reflux when he was a baby and I used to only get about an hour a nights sleep in total for quite a while till worked out what the problem was. unfortunately while I never had pregnancy cravings I got breastfeeding/ fatigue cravings for tinned rice pudding which I would eat in the night to keep me going. never made the dairy connection back then but probably made the whole thing worse.
DD used to puke big style on the days after I ate lots of yeo valley yoghurt and stopped completely when I stopped eating yoghurt.
while I think DS tolerates dairy I wonder if his asthma would improve more if we cut it out and also his gut flora are quite messed up I think from the strong meds when he was less than 6 months that stopped his stomach producing acid. so he still has problems which are often helped with lactobacillus but wonder if dairy plays a part.
He has had a lot on his plate though and we are not quite in the right place to make that change at the moment even though there are things we could substitute.
but still very interesting to hear you managing it successfully.

jo the dietician said to go for the obvious stuff first and to be honest he has not had chocolate for 2 yrs and yogurts for 6 mths so he was delighted to give it a go as i bought him dairy free of both.i thought it was gluten the same as oh however he is still having weetabix with lactose free milk as soya was too sweet for him tastes like condensed milk complained that i had put sugar on his weetabix.lol i quite like the soya butter i got him we are all eating it and noone has complained .
she said to do it for 4 days just then reintroduce dairys she thinks cheese may be ok ,but he is doing so well i dont want to give him any of it lol ,he has had some cheeses at school as he took pizza .So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x0
