    Thanks Mabel.
I've edited my post so I don't make the thread really negative. He's asleep right now, under the table. Seems to be breathing normally for now but I'm going to keep trying to get through to the vets...
Need to get myself to a doctor, too, I think. I feel so caught up in everything...
Have you got many plans for today?

Jo, had missed that post for some reason, I already have A Magical Childhood on my FB and love some of the stuff they do but have just had a trawl through the newsletters, brilliant! -and the frugal family one and found some great ideas and links; about to put DS on the laptop to play Discovery Kids games - so thanks! :)
MummyandPaige, think it's a brilliant way to use the old baby clothes and I've got so much stuff that's not fit for the charity shop (not worth selling on) that it'd be good :) you don't need one of those hooks though, you can use a blunt pencil or knitting needle, so don't be tricked into spending money lol!
Those of you with gardens, do you want a free baby tree? :)

    very strange request here..........

could all the wonderful dribblers that so very very kindly helped me when the car/life crises hit please pm me. all my messages vanished and obviously the other bank account was shut down.........I need info please!

Not been having a bad day here, on 4th coffee now, still not done any stitching or reading lol, but still chilled out. rather nippy here today but at least not raining!

Saucy - use the private health insurance you have and get yourself sorted, once and for all. as for you puppy, if the pdsa are happy to help then contact them about it........simple

Skint - what a great find on the grabbit board! Now if I just had other things I needed at the same time, I would be sorted for a year lol

Paula - the time you are playing and creating with the little ones is so much more precious then tidying lol so enjoy it!!

Jo - Hope you have or have had a great day at work!

Nixi, Mable, Paula - I think the giant jumps for June are great and love the weekly thought that will go into them

2cats - which author? I didnt realise there were still sites out there that the author still actualy attended to , that is so very cool!

MandP - elated to hear you are getting on so well and do so hope to come down and visit again soon. Really loved my time with you as was such great fun!

NLID, Amber, Lilac Pixie and the rest that are missing at the moment, I do hope you are all ok and come back soon as I miss you!

    Toots, *wave*

ok, who had the link about making rag rugs, always wanted to try it, so hmmm bare floors and such here so might be a good stop gap. I am sorry if I have missed anyone but trying hard to remember it all now lol, and everytime I use multi quote I tend to screw it up anyway or there are more than three that I want to quote!!

Right off to see what sort of mischief I can get into this afternoon, should not be too hard as itis generally close by lol

Have a great rest of the day everyone

*insert the word smirking merkins a zillion times*

    Love and hugs xxx

Hi all - just popping in to say hello quickly :) I've just had an odd moment - dancing around to tina turner's simply the best while applying snail gel to my face - is that what things have come to?!
Thanks for all the great links - i love the ooglies video lol, somehow someday i'll make some money from them..?! maybe. Thanks for the baby tree Paula, i ordered a Rowan. i hope it arrives, OH & i were only saying earlier how expensive plants are. We're going to have some raised beds in the garden but they'll take years to fill, even though the garden's really small.
I hope everyone's having a nice day - i'd like to do one of the giant jumps if there's still space - towards the end of the month as i'll have more time then, thanks :)
Saucy, i echo what munchki's said about your health - something so important needs to be sorted asap and if you have the means at your fingertips to do it (health insurance) then why wait? Same with the puppy, i helped someone access pdsa support once and they were really helpful - they'll explain very clearly whether or not you're entitled to support.
Enjoy your miischief Munchki :) sounds fun :)
Hi everyone else - and those who are missing, please return soon, we miss you all...
Oh Jo - the reason why the sig is sometimes not here is sometimes i un-tick the box that says 'show your sig' as it takes up too much space otherwise and irritates me! when it's here, it's because i've forgotten to un-tick it.
Right, off into the garden for a bit, it's sooooo nice to be off work on a Monday - catch you all soon xxx
p.s. if anyone ever asks me a question and i don't answer, please shout at me - it's only because i've forgotten and not because i'm ignoring you - i have a terrible memory at times xxx
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.

yes I do do play sessions, the author isn't me LOL (wish it was!). No, this author comes into the chat room on the fan site. It's scheduled for 6pm EST on Sundays which is midnight here. (Or is it 7pm EST? Anyway, midnight here.) She doesn't come in every week, maybe every other or every third, but she updates e1 on how her writing is going and gives us little snippets of what's happening in the latest book etc. (no big spoilers, obviously). Munchki is more likely to have heard of her as she's not widely known here - it's Katherine Kurtz. She writes historical fantasy, stuff about freemasonry, knights templars etc. All quite mystical/magical stuff. I started reading it at about 18 and have never grown up LOL, so I try to be tolerant of DD's Twilight obsession as it's nothing on mine! What was nice is that I haven't been in chat for maybe 3 years (eek!) and the first thing I got when I went in was "hi Annie, LTNS" (long time no see). It's kinda nice as we are all as obsessed as each other, and I like that KK is so into the fandom side of it as well as a lot of people seem not to give a toss as long as their books keep selling.

Have tallied up and I did more pages yesterday than I thought and am up to the magic 17 already! Woohoo! Let's see if I can crack the 20 today.
