Morning all! Not been up long as I had a very disturbed night with children so OH knew to let me have a lie in or I would have been evil!
M&P - glad you like the link, you have summed up my take on it completely. I think 'The Secret' is a fantastic way to start and motivate but ultimately it is hard work and determination (and a little luck!) and for us lucky dribblers the support we provide each other that actually brings in the money
Skint - don't forget you have me as a promotion idea...just you don't know it yet and I do! YOu sound like a busy bee today hon.....
We built our bbq yesterday - from last years end of season sale at B&Q! - and were hoping to have our first bbq today but weather not looking too nicehaving read on here though I have lots bits to ebay so I might try and get that done.....
Munchki - enjoy your 'you'day, you def. deserve it!
Joey - I have avoided farmville as I know I would be addicted, like I am to this thread! lol!
Paula - yeh, another volunteer!
Morning to everyone else....... right off to have a shower otherwise I will sit her and dribble all day!!Life is a work in progress0 -
Morning all, I've been lazy today as well, also had a bad night's sleep, wierd.
Not a lot planned for today, been sorting through DD's party bag bits to be ready for the weekend.
I am going to gain my £1 today by entering two purchases on CP (50p each)0 -

Rosie, it's a case of lots of coffee and demanding kids lol! Have I asked whereabouts you live in Hull yet?
Ticked off; have made salt dough ants with pipe cleaner antennae and legs. Really impressed with the 5 yr old's addition of 'spikes on his back so nothing will eat him'; it's science and art all in one! Then we cooked some experimental coconut biscuits which have come out really well; now colouring in gas masks and spitfires from the war thing yesterday to cut out and wear. Role play! Cooking! When I'll get all the other stuff on the list done I don't know....xxI have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.0 -
G'day all.
Shattered this morning. Stayed up to do a chat session with one of my fave authors which used to start at 11pm UK time only to find it is now midnight UK time. So drank a load of coffee to stay awake and then woke this morning with a thumping headache. And she didn't come to chat, which was a shame, but I chatted with a load of the regulars. I haven't been chatting since I started working earlier on Mondays, so it was nice to have a holiday so I could chat again. I need to see if I can face chatting till 1am and still being up at 7am to see if I can do it more regularly, but I don't do well on less than 8 hours sleep!
Today I shall be doing more scrapbook pages. I want to get up to at least 17 pages done so I can say I have done half of it. I hope the bride and groom will like it after all this!!
I also need to get out in the garden and plant some more chard and spinach in the gaps in the rows and thin out some of the other seedlings. I have tomatoes that need potting on too. They are still very small for the time of year, so I'm hoping for a minor miracle to occur on the tomato front!
Then I need to do payroll for the staff and a big email of customers and ex-customers about the family photograph day I'm trying to organise.
See ya laters, all.0 -
Thanks Skint! I have always found that company makes things easier!
I have poo weather here too, it has rained all day so far, not looking much like the washing is going to get hung outWon't mind so much, but don't have a tumble dryer or an airer, still in my catchup week, I have managed to do 11 loads so far, downside, I am only about half way through the backlog
Paula - wow, busy morning! I'm still trying t oclean up after yesterdays escapades involving glitter glue, paint, a distracting phone call and a box of books......it started soo well.....nevermind.
Curious about cp???

Hi Saucy- I dont know much about PDSA but would have thought if you qualify then it shouldnt matter if youd seen a vet recently-IMO it at least shows that you were willing to pay but now just cant afford to. If not then change your vet anyway-you dont have to stick with them, just go and register with another one. Sounds like Puppy really needs looking at bless him :-(0
