OK putting this up ahead of time again.
    Thursdays mini move for May.
draw a large square on a piece of paper and divide it into 9 smaller squares.
work out 9 life priorities that are relevant to you now. these can include business/ moneymaking but should also include all areas of your life.
eg perhaps for nixi they might be decorating house, general housekeeping, pr business, keeping on top of her dads issues, fun activities with kids, enjoying relationship with DH, staying in touch with friends, some exercise, writing fiction.
Now each week even though there may be areas that you focus on as a high priority also make sure that you allocate a little time to all the others even if it is just 30 mins fiction writing or a quick walk around the block or just sending a quick email to a friend.
maybe schedule in some of the smaller things first so that they get their place. that way while you spend time on your highest priorities you make sure that a little time is allocated to each thing that is currently important to you and so keep some balance in your life.
That doesn't mean having 5 exciting projects on the go and stretching yourself too thinly between them. It may be best to select an initial 1 or 2 projects to focus on for now and incorporate other priorities too.
of course if you want to have 10 projects on the go then you may wish to give this mini move a miss.lol

Hey NLID - the most important thing is that you got it, you have got more pressing issues going on. I just wanted to make sure that you have... get the important stuff sorted. The site is way down on the totem pole of things that you need to sort. Have you had any luck with CCCS yet?

not yet - I tried this morning but as usual got interrupted from a paying client - got a call scheduled for 4pm today which si when there meant to be a ltitle quieter.

Im just working through a number of sites of mine to work out how I can get them earning money. Today I have seriously shocked myself with the number of domain names I have with traffic not earning a penny in revenue and unless I work on them they never will earn me a penny.

Therefore I think one thing I have to do is sit down and capitalise on my opportunities better if I am to make my dreams come true - There is a lot of reading which needs to happen - A lot of site work which needs to happen. I also think one of the key things for my business is I need to be able to manage the 200+ websites with ease, as well as get all of the reporting back into a single place too see where improvements can be made. Therefore our internal tools are going to be revamped over the next couple of days to integrate with our new accounting process, as well as allowing me to manage the external sites from the comfort of one software suite.

Then I need to narrow down the code base's to maybe 4 or 5 projects and use templating to ensure they look differently. Nothing bad in the mail today so thats always a positive lol!

Remember the dandelion wine? Well it has fallen clear and has had its first racking. From the mini-mouthful I got from the syphon it is going to be an interesting flavour and pretty dry. It has gone from looking like orange juice to a golden yellow colour like a chardonnay. Kitchen chemistry at its finest!

Since the dandelion needs to mature for a year, and I'm down to my last couple of bottles each of grapefruit (2010) and mixed hedgerow (2009), I have put on a gallon of orange juice wine which is plopping away happily (and the same colour that the dandelion was a few weeks ago). That one should be drinkable young, so that will tide me over till the dandelion is ready and also the hedgerow ones from this year (planning on doing as many gallons of blackberry as I can make this year - it's lovely stuff!).

    Hope e1 is doing well.

its official.....2 cats, I am moving in with you lol!!!! Have always wanted to make my own wines, however dont think it will be possible in the small flat, one day...I WILL do it one day!!

    *wave wave*

Evening everyone...well the weekend officially started for me at precisely 5.01pm today hehehe
I have so so much that I need and want to do before guests arrive tomorrow. Thinking I should at least start painting the bedroom, and then of course need to hoover, mop and dust the flat, take the laundry to the washateria in the morning, pop to asda to get food and drink for the weekend/week ahead, pay rent, fix my bed (dont ask, was rather stupid really) clean the bathroom and finish up a couple of other bits as well. Whew going to be a busy one tomorrow! Joey....if you see this could you please pm with what you like to drink ( I know you are driving of course) Oh yes and almost forgot, am making a very very lucious double choccie cheesecake in the morning as well for pudding tomorrow evening....yummy and no bake and is always fab!!

Right, been running about the flat trying to sort things out already. It just frustrates me that no matter how much I clean it always looks unclean, I swear it is because of the floors!!

Hope everyone is doing well today, huge huggles to any all that need or want them. I am sure I will be about most of the evening, well inbetween cleaning bursts.....

Oh yea, almost forgot, the job I applied for at work that is a perm one, well I start half day trials on tuesday for about 3-4 weeks and if all goes well the job might be mine. Would certainly take some pressure off me in the not knowing part of things to say the least.

    xxx

munchki, 2 demi johns, some sterilising tabs, some yeast, some fruit juice (I've used one carton of orange and one of grape for the latest batch) and a syphon and Robert's your mother's brother. Once I'd sterlised the demijohn it took me about 30 seconds and about an 8"x8" footprint for the demijohn to get the orange batch going. It's really not hard! The dandelion takes more doing, but fruit juice wines are easy peasy and cost about 50p a bottle.
