OK putting this up ahead of time again.
Thursdays mini move for May.
draw a large square on a piece of paper and divide it into 9 smaller squares.
work out 9 life priorities that are relevant to you now. these can include business/ moneymaking but should also include all areas of your life.
eg perhaps for nixi they might be decorating house, general housekeeping, pr business, keeping on top of her dads issues, fun activities with kids, enjoying relationship with DH, staying in touch with friends, some exercise, writing fiction.
Now each week even though there may be areas that you focus on as a high priority also make sure that you allocate a little time to all the others even if it is just 30 mins fiction writing or a quick walk around the block or just sending a quick email to a friend.
maybe schedule in some of the smaller things first so that they get their place. that way while you spend time on your highest priorities you make sure that a little time is allocated to each thing that is currently important to you and so keep some balance in your life.
That doesn't mean having 5 exciting projects on the go and stretching yourself too thinly between them. It may be best to select an initial 1 or 2 projects to focus on for now and incorporate other priorities too.
of course if you want to have 10 projects on the go then you may wish to give this mini move a miss.lol

I love washing my cars and polishing them by hand - but jen reckons I get a tad excessive with the level of detail I goto.
After all the volcano ash I will first give it a standard wash and a clean as most would do, however I will use only plain water for the first two passes.
Once these have been completed I will use soap and a new sponge to give it a standard clean with a quality car shampoo. I will then t-cut the paintwork where there has been overspray.
I will then clay the whole body of the car to remove any last contamination, ensuring the clay doesnt dry out. Followed by 2-5 coats of polish to give a deep shine. The paintwork will feel like silk once I am finished with all of this!£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Thanks for the mini move Jo, I'm going to enjoy this one.
Enjoy your car cleaning NLID, I may have to bring my car to you, it is so sadly neglected (and now dinted, boo!)
I've just been getting all the dishes done and put away and I've given my sink it's daily sparkle. That led to me cleaning the rest of the kitchen - I'm actually starting to enjoy this!
Ooh, I will be practically perfect by the time I've done with this thread
