Very expensive for Sevilla - that's more like Barcelona prices. Will OH be paid in euros or sterling? If it's euros, then the exchange rate is irrelevant. I'd suggest trying to keep your expenses down, as you'll be paying bills on top of that.0 -
I'd PMed you!
Did you get the link? My internet had a blip.
OH will be paid in euros, I think, but my income will still be in pounds. And I think in pounds, lol. It's 1000 euros a month plus electric, all other rates are included. OH wants to negotiate it down to 900 euros a month including all rates, but that might be him being a bit optimistic...It is stunning, right next to where he will work in centre Sevilla, and has two terraces. And well decorated!! But I'll keep looking. Thank youSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
I dont fully know what it means, other than they are chasing me down for £17,086.18 that I do not have. no doubt there will be another one for my wife for a similar amount (despite 15k of both of them being joint debts)
Every time I have a problem I seam to dust myself off and pick myself up - It is just taking longer and longer and longer every time to pick myself up - and Im starting to feel constantly down because of it all - added to the fact I cant get through to CCCS every time I try - it makes me believe there service is either excellent when you get through or appalling as there overworked! I dont knwo which as yet as I havent got through.
I just feel like when i am making progress in terms of turnover of my company, my personal finances suffer which then means I have to take more from teh company - and when im making progress with the personal finances the business finances suffer which mean there is less to live on.
I dont know where to turn, what to do - or if I should just say **** the lot of them and leave europe for a while... but then how do I finance leaving europe....
Again another rant by NLID which says everything which is on my head right now, yet provides sweet FA in terms of what people need to know to either be able to help me help myself - or help me tell my creditors to kiss my hairy backside.
I get annoyed with myself for even putting flippant comments down... like that though, as it makes it seam like I dont care about my problems - when in fact they are depressing me to the point where I am effectively just pouring them out into a post which I may or may not submit - I still havent truly decided. I guess the flippant responses are just a internal defense to prevent me losing the level of control I am keeping myself under right now to prevent me smashing everything up in the house and saying come get it - cart me off to the debtors prison and see if i give a darn - there I go again as I do give a darn!£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Oh no NLID.....it can be sorted, the worst thing you can do is panic or ignore it. Did you manage to get through the the debt mangament company you were calling or CAB? If so, contact them and ask for help...... I have always found the best way to get help from anyone is to start by asking for help (thats how we sorted out everything with my dad - and it had got to the stage that he was about to be arrested for not paying his taxes for 7 years as well as having had the house repossessed!) It will all be fine - in a few years you will look back and laugh at how silly it all was, you have the skills to get out of tjhis and just need the time to put everything in place, honestly you will be fine! hugs xxLife is a work in progress0

Saucy-puppy is now 12 weeks old :-)
NLID-dont really know what to say hun but carry on ranting/posting flippant comments, you need to let it go out of your head so you might as well share with us-we've all had our fair share of things to moan about its just your turn now so dont feel bad about that.
Hope you manage to get through to cccs soon :-/0 -
nixi - I have tried and tried - id have a massive phone bill if it wasnt a freephone number!
Ask for help.... I asked Eversheds for help regarding making a payment arrangement, I sent them letters for 3-4 months that they have been contacting me and all they did was respond standard responses without acknoledging any of my letters
I genuinely do not have a clue what to do - im sat here in an office full of s**t - sorry Stock that I need to get on ebay but with every letter or hassly - I just cant be bothered£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

NLID - don't get disheartened. Is it possible to phone and talk to someone at Evershed? I only ask because as far as sorting out my dad was concerned it was all done face to face or over the phone as we found people were more inclined to help then. Please use us to vent and rant, it can and will be sorted, I know it doesn't feel like it now but you will be ok. Please try calling that company again, or contacting CAB. Munchki was really strugling but CAB worked wonders for her and they can do the same for you.
Here is a CAB factsheet

Really long reply submitted and what does the internet do???? Drop out! Tyical, right here we go again!nolongerindenial wrote: »I want to cry right now - a Claim form has just come through from Cardiff County Court...
It is a claim form, not a CCJ. The CCj will be issued dependant on the result of the hearing (date should be on the form), don't panic, it can be responded to and may not even be issued depending of the details. You need to fill out the reply form though, otherwise it is a dead cert that a CCJ will be issued. It is not too late to get hold of the issuing company and ask them what it is you need to do/pay to get it dropped.nolongerindenial wrote: »I dont fully know what it means, other than they are chasing me down for £17,086.18 that I do not have. no doubt there will be another one for my wife for a similar amount (despite 15k of both of them being joint debts)
Nope, 1 debt is only allowed 1 CCJ otherwise issuing one in your OHs name as well would mean that the debt would need to be paid twice. If they have chosen to issue it to you, your OH will not recieve one.

Keep trying, they are worth their weight in gold, just through the sheer power of the punch that their association has on creditors. Most people call first thing in the morning or after 4pm, try to get hold of them in between these hours.
I just feel like when i am making progress in terms of turnover of my company, my personal finances suffer which then means I have to take more from teh company - and when im making progress with the personal finances the business finances suffer which mean there is less to live on.
Thats life, it sucks, sorry!

Don't do that, OH told the last lot of creditors (who happened to be indian) to "go back to their mud huts and throw some more spears", it didn't go down well and they refused to take anymore calls from us

Get over to the DFW board and start a neew thread, there is excellent advice there and I am pretty sure that they have to either respond or to come to some sort of arrangement with you. Eitherway, included in the court documents, should it get as far as needing to send them off, you must include all of the letters sent as your evidence, it shows that you tried and makes it more likely that either the judge wil throw the case out (the debt still stands but the court refuse to issue CCJ or chase on behalf of creditor) , or the judge will want a means statement and will decide a payment plan for you. This is a set in stone thing, should you miss payment, then the bailliffs could come round and do an inventory before re-establishing a payment plan with you, but on the flip side, the creditor will have to accept it, they cannot chase you for full payment.
I genuinely do not have a clue what to do - im sat here in an office full of s**t - sorry Stock that I need to get on ebay but with every letter or hassly - I just cant be bothered
I know that feeling, try breaking down the task, you only have 1 or even 2 items to list, then, later, another 1 or 2, don't see it as a never ending task. It is dead money sitting there, it needs to be listed in order to bring in the money.
Hello everyone, not stopping, just popping in for a quick catchup.
Nixi - I am a lot like you in your must have it done now feeling. Think thats why I have the ups and downs, I get frustrated where things don't go as quickly as I would like, so I put them to one side going off the idea for a bit and go full ahead on the next idea.....oops, really need to change that!
Had a bit of advice from a lovely lady, so off to go and see what I can do next, before I get frustrated!

It is great to be home, but had a fantastic time away. Em and Green Pixie we did the Pirate Golf too - kids loved it though they have their own rules which includes the use of hands, feet or clubs to move the golf ball!! We had a couple of fab days on Goodrington beach, we went fossiling at Charmouth ( yes we travelled an hour and half just to go to a beach....madness!!), we visited Brixham and Torquay too
Thats so strange, I work in Charmouth too. The cafe on the car park rather than the one on the beach. I live near there when I'm at my family home so I work there in the holidays.
Was it chris who took you on a fossil walk? I've made a lovely picture of his face on a borat mankini body.£11,000 in 2011 = £71.740
