OK Fridays mini move for may.
spend a little time researching people who are already doing what you want to do and doing it well. maybe not exactly what you want to do but similar field..
have a think about what makes them stand out.
OR
just spend a little time reading about someone you think is inspirational.

That's a good one Jo thanks- of course I could cheat by just dribbling all day coz all of you are the most oinspirational people I know. But apart from you lot my main person who inspires me in my business area is Claire Yarwood-White, she has a very succesful wedding jewellery business and has also made jewellery for the X-factor shows. She is Mike Yarwoods daughter but has supposedly not used her connections to get where she is. I shall be doing some research!0

AHHHHHHHHH Bloody dilemna's Joprah!
the person I most admire in our industry, is on the wrong side of the law (not google but copyright infringment) most of the time - and walks on the knife edge with google...
I could emulate him, but I open myself up for prosecution, but then he does earn nearly 300k+ a year through affiliate marketing£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

ok NLID if 1 criteria for your business is operating within the law then he might be inspiring but not for your criteria so you would need to find someone doing well and staying within the law. Do such people exist?? are any of them inspiring??
OR take inspiration from some of his qualities or parts of what he does and see how it can be applied to a business operating within the law. maybe there is still a lot to be learned from him??
good luck

isnt it a criteria for everyone to operate within the law. And most people in our industry are the types of people who you would sit there and think are the most boring individuals in the world! Think typical geeks who dont want to see sunlight and you have your typical web developer/SEO.
If you look at it from the outside, it is a really uninspiring industry and anyone who claims to be inspired by reading about our industry, is either inspired by the money aspect of what it can generate, a geek or lying.
I am a geek, who likes the money aspect - however im not your typical vampire geek£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
