Hello evryone hope you are all well & happy.
I am still in a state of shock today lol
Last night I was supposed to be going out gor a meal. My son told me the table was booked for 9 but we were going to the local for a couple of drinks first and meeting my other son and his wife there and the taxi to the restaurant was booked for 8-45. When we got in the Pub my son was there talking to one of his friends Dylan who I hadn't seen for ages. Dyla gave me a hug then told me he was at a do in the function room and would I pop through to see his wife and son as they would be really pleased to see me. When I walked in I couldn't believe it all the party poppers going off, flashes from cameras and happy birthday playing. I was alsolutely gobsmacked and didn't know whether to laugh cry or run away. It was a brilliant night though and I really didn't have a clue they were planning it. (they started before Xmas apparently) I feel so blessed with my family and friends. One dear friend had come all the way up from Ipswich. So today I feel really happy and touched that they would do all that for me. At the moment my living room is filled with helium ballons I insisted on binging them home lol.

Wow Nikki, thats pretty exciting...I wish you lived near me, I need a haircut, my eyebrows done, and a spray tan badly. I'm probably too much of a wimp to wax, and my body might never forgive me, lol.

How did the bar trial go? Did you enjoy it?

Edit: Aww, Rosie that is lovely. What a great thing to do!

What a lovely surprise, Rosie. And how ingenious to rope Dylan in, as you'd probably have smelled a rat if it had been a family member.

Afternoon all, hope all are well.

Watching the F1 Gp here, I love it! Oh Barrichello is out! Ouch!

I'm thinking of nipping next door and asking them to stop arguing otherwise I will start calling the Police! 4.30 this morning they were at it till gone 5.30! It's not so much them arguing but the affect it's having on their little daughter - she already cries every single night starting about 2am and sometimes going on for a few hours, without fail and it's quite distressing to hear it. I'm sure it's because of all the tension and arguments they have! They don't just argue either, sounds like they chuck furniture around and slam doors etc. and sounds like they just swipe stuff off tables/cupboards (whatever) and the clitter clatter of all the stuff dropping on the laminated floor in the dead of night is like white noise torture!

If I was in power I would pass a law that no one in an attached house would be allowed to have laminate flooring in their house!

I'm possibly going to have to have a kip now tlater to make up for the lost sleep from this morning!

Should I go tell them I'm going to start calling the Police? I don't like to just do it - that seems quite sneaky. Not sure how it would go down, they had a visitor threaten to "give me one" once because I asked her to move her car as she was blocking me in (we have a shared drive). She was enraged (deranged) and got so in such a quick time I was quite shocked. Her parting words to me as she moved her car was "Hope you have a nice day!" shouted with such venom I nearly wet myself laughing all the way to work because I knew I'd have a much better day that she was ever going to! Funny thing is, when she threated to hit me, I actually contemplated should I allow her to really lose the plot and go with it, but realised that if she actually moved the car there and then I could actually still make it in to work on time, so I let it go, plus I didn't have my emergency phone handy that I could hit the button so it would all be recorded and the SAS be on their way to witness it! That would have been funny!

I tell you what though, if any one of my friends/relatives had lost the plot so much so quickly in front of any kid of mine, it would be a very long time before that person was ever around my kid again! And the young mother just stood there on the doorstep holding her kid and found the whole incident amusing. That quite shocked me.

Oh well, hopefully they'll be gone soon, they rent the property next door. I just hope they split up when they move out, sometimes it's better for a child to be in a single parent home than an abusive 2 parent home, I believe.

Anyway, best get on and watch the race.

    Speak again soon

That sounds like a fantastic night, Rosie, well done to everyone for pulling it off.

Saucy, do make sure you write down everything you want to talk about, make sure the doctor knows EXACTLY how you are feeling, and don't let him push you out the door until you have got results. I know what you're like about not wanting to make a fuss, so just imagine that I am standing there, whip in hand, and nobody is leaving that room until you get what you need!

I'm really gonna try Amber, thank you :)

OH took me to Sains, did a little shopping. Got some bath stuff and some Pepsi Max so I'm happy, in an odd mood which is a bit up and down-ie but I'm hoping it'll all even out soon.

Doing Doo-yoo (or trying), what's everybody else up too?

Rosie - thats sounds fab, what a fright you must have gotten.

Poosmate - i would contact the landlord and tell them your not putting up with it and will be contacting the council etc etc - put the onus on them to get rid of her as she sounds a right numpty,

Nikki, well done on speculating to accumulate, my neice is looking to start up herself.

elly - never thought of that, but would cost a fortune in ink so would have to do something for you as payback, will see what i can pull together

2cats - hope you are feeling better soon - think you may have smitten me with it as am feeling carp, infact dont think carp is strong enough description
