    Hi all,

Sorry I have not been keeping up with the dribble lately.

I am trying something new and would welcome any comments. Check out my new website. Ever since getting my puppy I just want more and more dogs so I thought dog sitting might be the answer. I have had one enquiry but no customers yet.

It isn't going to make me rich as I will only have one dog at a time but it is a start at something.

    Cheers,

    Jane

Hi Jane - well done - took me a wee while reading through as i wasnt sure if you took them into your home or just visited them and spent some time with them - maybe me just being thick. Do you pick the dogs up if needed? Do you accept emergency cases - if so it may be worth getting flyers into doctors, hospitals, chemists, building up contact with community care services.

Im new to this thread Jane but just taken a look at your website it looks great. I have 2 cats and when I go away always like to know that they are being well looked after by someone that likes animals as much as I do. Hope that it goes well for you.

Jane I think there is a demand for this sort of service. my nephew started his own dog walking/ pet sitting business in february and it is slowly becoming established. He doesn't provide what you are offering but its clear that there is a market for it. they just don't have the space to do it.
It may take time but these things spread well by word of mouth once you have a few customers.
I can give you a few tips about spreading the word if you want. just brain a bit too foggy to do it now.
    hope it goes well.
Hi everyone else. hope all is ok. not had a proper catch up but will do later.

    Mondays mini move for may.
make a list of between 5 and 10 stressbuster/ energisers/ relaxation activities that take about 5 -10 mins to do.
If you are working in 15/ 30/ 60 mins blocks then schedule one of these at the end of each section to look forward to.
Please share your ideas on here in the next day or 2 as they may inspire others and others may inspire you.
