Eurgh, what a day.
Doctors didn't happen, for various reasons. Think advocacy is mad at me and need another appointment desperately although I can't seem to get one.
Have paperwork to do and post but OH is not being very helpful, and my tummy still kills. I think my kidneys have stopped bleeding, though, which means they should settle down soon.
Will be out of oramorph by this time tomorrow...
Glad your internet is okay, Mabel
(Ohh, if a book was posted next day recorded on Friday, will I get it today?)
(2nd Oooh, does anyone know where I can buy chocolates and have them delivered direct to the person I want to send them too?)Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Saucy - sod the bloody paperwork.... get yourself to hospital NOW! If you are still in that much pain and the morphine is not helping then there is some thing wrong.

Mabel. the 10 minute thing is not about doing nothing hun!!! doing nothing is what you get to the end of the day and feel carp about. not that you should and doing nothing is fine. the 10 mins are meant to be positive actions that change your energy/ relax or energise you. come on you can think of some!!!
Saucy why do you think advocacy are mad at you??

I can't, I've got no car
OH called out of hours last night, and they sent a doctor, who prodded me a bit, took my temperature and told me he couldn't prescribe me anything stronger and thought it was my kidneys opening up again. There are big holes in them so it's not really unusual, just very painful.
I've spoken to PALS at the hospital about not being able to get a doctors appointment again, and she is going to try for me.
I guess I should try to hold out until 2ish and if its still hurting call someone out again then?
(Thank you for caring. It means alot, I'm so used to feeling like a pain in the behind but this thread makes me feel worthwhile)

call someone now..... Tell them how much pain you are in.... if that doesn't work then call the hospital and explain that you are in pain, no car, no doctors app etc.... you need to be seen.
I wish I was there Saucy.....
I need to go out now, so I will pop on later. Please let me know how you got on.sealed pot challange #572!Garden fund - £0!!:D£0/£10k0 -
Ok here are some. I can think of.
put some energising music on and dance for 5 mins.
try the time warp/ macarena/ agadoo or other cheesy dances.
march on the spot.
try writing a sentence in the air with the end of your nose
look online and find a 5 minute exercise/ yoga/ tai chi routine
do 5 minutes of stretching.
5 minute meditation.
5 minute bollywood/ belly dancing
drink a long cool glass of water and visualise a calm / beautiful place.
do some deep belly laughing.
skip.
do a headstand
hop 30 times on each leg.
practise gurning
ring up someone you know is out at work and leave them a nice message/ funny song for when they get home
thats all for now

Afternoon everyone,

Saucy, do as mambury says. Call them now.
Hi Twiglet, you'll fit in great here with ideas and owning cats. I think I'm one of only a few without them. (cats that is, I do sometimes have ideas)
Well, the money is cleared for the bike and it has been picked up today. My camcorder is ordered, I paid a little more for a panasonic one with a 60gb hard drive built in but still from argos clearance so about half price.
So excited about my PPI claim coming through, it's going to be at least 5,400 and with only 3,700 left of unsecured debt, hopefully I will have that all clear before I turn 34 in July so will need to update my signature.
Not planning on doing much this week for the challenge as getting things sorted for our family holiday to butlins next week but am turning all my attention to getting loose ends tied up ready for when I get back.
