Morning all :-) Hi Dilli...wooop coding! lmao. Good luck to all the future non smokers-you can do it! I gave up about 7 years ago and I can honestly say i never miss it, in fact I've turned into one of those annoying ex smokers that coughs loudly when anyone lights up!
Puppy has just pooed in the other dogs bed....I think i might plant her in the garden instead of replacement carrots...... this is why they make puppys so cute and fluffy so you still like them when they have crapped all over the place....glad i bought some half price Febreeze!
....oh and did my 'happy ' mini move by taking the pooey dog bed in to show OH when he was still in bed heh heh heh :-)0 -

My DD's nickname ever since she was born is Pixie!! I wanted to call her Pixie, but OH dug his heels in...

the closing date is midnight tonight so get in there quick....
Kitchen sorted, kids having a nap, OH is entertaining himself so its all nice and quiet here at Mambury Towers this morning.
Not really got any plans for today other than a trip to the garden centre for more compost and doing some of the dreaded ironing..
Mabel - you are nice to your OH LOL!

Morning all!
Mambury - auctions didn't go too well, think that is a noOnly sold 1 of the 6 I had listed and had £5 starting bid on most of them. Think it is just perservere with BINs and hope they all go eventually.
Off to the park with DDs and then home via Lidl and Argos. Got to get me a lawnmower, I am all for the jungle look in the garden, but you can't see where the million cats that live round here have crapped. Speaking of which, little turd has gone and dug up my tatoes, crapped, then covered it up. I lived in a terraced house, I have 4 cats, next door has 5, next door otherside has 1, and next to them is another 3 (thats not even starting on the houses we back onto), yet they all congrugate in my garden to !!!!!! because I am the only one not to have a staffie tooThink I need to move

lol Mabel, you don't mean that! Would snap your hand off though! Morning all. Had another lovely lie in today
Still hacking away like a good 'un but energy levels gradually coming back up again. Have got cracking on some paperwork whereas yesterday just wanted to sit and veg out.
Concert yesterday was good. DD seems to have decided to stay with string orchestra next year as she was considering doing the jazz band on her saxophone in her first class. I'm torn as I think she'd love the jazz on the sax, but the more repertoire she can get under her belt on the violin the better for college. And it saves having to take both instruments each week!
Had a wander round the garden yesterday. I replaced the two runner beans that have been eaten with two French beans and popped my plastic bottles over the top in case the miscreant is still there. In Kushka's bed the German radishes and the beetroot are starting to come up, and in the other bed the "normal" radishes are starting to come up too. The peppers are starting to grow a little having been stuck at the same size for ages. My second round of pak choi and romaine lettuce are peeking up so they can go into a space shortly. I've got into quite a good watering routine as that's normally my problem - plant loads of stuff and then forget to water it! So with luck I should get a bigger harvest this year. The herb tub is doing well too - the seedlings will need thinning soon - and I'll put some red basil out in the spare bed soon.
In the front, the apple blossoms have passed, so it remains to be seen whether they've been fertilised or not. The strawberries are flowering like mad and it looks like a decent crop coming on the blueberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants. I've started pulling the rhubarb and chopping and freezing it. I've figured I'm better off to freeze my rhubarb for the winter and buy from Tesco/farm shops/markets now while it's cheap, than eat mine now and buy from Tesco when it's expensive. I need to talk DH into an extra freezer really.
Right, best get back on with the paperwork and then I'll do a 15 minute stint in the garden and a 15 minute stint doing the bathroom. I also need to crack on with niece's wedding album so I need to order the paper and cardstock for that, and send off the medical forms and payment for DD's youth orchestra trip.
Will pop back on later to see how everyone is doing.0 -
Good afternoon dribbly dribblers! Had a lovely evening out last night, ate too much, drank waaaaay too much, but it was fun!! Hope everyone is well, hugs for those in need!
Have been having a nosey through the flylady site, so thank you 2cats, lots of useful stuff in there, and I know that my main point for the moment is definitely going to be the 27 fling boogie, and I'll be starting in DD's room for definite!!!
I'm off to get comfy for the grand prix, then I think I'll start on the house!

Morning everyone
Couldn't sleep, spent about an hour tossing and turning and then OH woke up, Puppy was having the same trouble so we both stroked him to sleep in his bed and then OH cuddled me to sleep. Amazing how that works, but have woken up happy and not too tired, so it's okay :j
Need to think of what to say to the doctor tomorrow...I hate doctors appointments
Today's tasks are all pretty boring so I'll be here to talk
Good morning everyone!
(Oh and Skint, good luck with the wedding fair, and Mabel, I love your doggie. Should have left it for OH to clean up :rotfl:)Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Afternoon
Finished my bar trial yesterday at 4am and was up and 8.30 to go to the Scottish Beauty Show. Spent about £300:eek: but I did get my fake bake spray tan gun, tent and liquid, also tweezerman tweezers, blinc (very good) mascara and a new waxing kit.
RRP of it all was £461 but I only paid £307.
So thats me fully kitted up, insured and now fully mobile!!0
