No, robt it's just very annoying when someone says the only reason you chose your phone is because you can't afford an iPhone.

I like my Desire and chose it over a iPhone because I think it's better but the iPhone may well suit others better.

only you can answer if you would prefer contract or payg, as for a phone if contract i would go for a HD2 and get a ipod clone app for music for payg get a tg01 and the same app or any other windows mobile based phone they are underrated in wht can be done on them, as someone else said iphone are locked to what apple want you to use (unless jailbreak) personally aviod iphone
But if you do get one i have just one royal mails music giveaway and have cheap itunes cards for sale

Can the htc get the contacts from an apple mac though. Sorry to hijack, but the only thing that is pushing me to an iphone, is the ease of transferring and synching my contact list and diary. If the htc could sync with a mac, well the choice widens for many people.
