L'Oreal owns The Body Shop.why would bodyshop send you Loreal products, when they only sell their own brand and its not tested on animals were other products are, very strange, cant see it myself
Their 'values' appear to be slightly vague now though...

Aargh! Misinformation makes me so angry!!Apparently Proctor and Gamble own the Body Shop now and they test everything on animals - wont be buying anything else from there now:mad:
P&G stopped animal testing over a decade ago on ALL cosmetic items, before EU directives.
Now, 99% of their products are humanely tested. Not as good as 100% I know, but to wildly state that they 'test everything on animals' is wholly inaccurate.
Animal testing for cosmetic purposes is banned in the UK.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

Most cosmetic companies are part of huge multinational corporations though, so even if animal testing for cosmetics is supposedly being phased out in the UK, it doesn't mean that companies operating here don't still conduct animal experiments abroad and still sell the animal derived cosmetics over here...? I'm not sure..
But anyway, has anyone recieved one of their orders that was supposedly rejected? I THINK i did this morning, but maybe they reactivated my order or something?0 -

I 'phoned on Monday about my missing freebies (whitemusk gift set) and spoke to a stroppy woman who went off to investigate and ring back. Never heard back so I rang this morning to request a RMA number for returns and got a lovely woman who offered to post out the missing sets.:j
Try ringing them Jazz you may get lucky.0 -
