    Not global?????????????????????????
Right then if Gordon Brown is so powerfull that he alone can cause the collapse of financial institutes worldwide then he gets my vote!!!!

Wow, he must be the most intellegent man on this earth!!

Well done Gordon!!! You alone caused the collapse of the Icelandic banks, Leaman Bros must be cursing you right now and as for Greece - well please never go there without a body guard, they will be after your blood!!!

Anyone who is misguided enough to truely believe that this one man alone is really to blame should not have the right to vote!!

I don't think anyone believes GB is responsible for the global financial problems but he IS responsible for borrowing unnecessarily when he didn't need to then squandering millions on rubbish like ID cards which probably will never see the light of day. Had he been a "prudent" chancellor like he kept telling us he was, he would have ensured that we would have been much better prepared when the credit bubble burst which anyone with half a brain cell could see would happen - he needed a serious chat with our Martin :money:

Having just read the whole of this post I am amazed at the silliness of the average voter!

If your unemployed - you will have to get a job or your benefits will be cut.
If your poor - its your fault - I was very poor only 8 years ago but I made a decision to get better - I'm not rich now but my life is in my hands not this governments.
If your a single mother living on benefits because child care is too expensive under all govs you'll probably stay the same.
If your retired under a conservative gov you'll be better off then you are with Labour
And if your well off you'll be even better off because having money allows you to make more - I dont think raising the death tax threshold by £350k for a couple is going to affect just millionaires - anyone living in and around London could find in 10-15 years in that bracket with their estate so why would any of you want to give the Gov another 40% of your already overly taxed income??

My hope is that we get a Gov who listens to the voter, who sorts out immigration, gets tough on crime, reduces the 5 Million people on the dole and incapacity benefit, gets our troops out of a war thats costing us taxpayers billions and finally can answer why we pay the european union £40million a day for our involvement!

Cameron will get my vote because the heigh of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result - dont dwell on what happened with Thatcher 20 years ago - the world and our country earns far more now in tax revenues then ever, we all agreed to pay an extra 1% uncapped NI a few years ago to get the NHS working - so far the wards are full of people who steal our services but ever paid a penny in!
It is time for change, the Conservatives have some very experienced politicians in their ranks its not just about Cameron and Osbourne!

We have to move on - whatever happens we ARE in for tough times for the next 4-6 years and I'm emigrating for sure if we don't get a change of government.

rant over have a happy voting day!

    D

How's that now? Are you saying poor people don't work hard. What exactly is your definition of work hard? Number of hours you work, manual labor, past qualifications? All those coal miners under Thatcher didn't they work hard putting their lives at risk? What about our troops risking their lives or is life just that cheap?

Cameron backs the EU. I think you should look into UKIP if you want Independence from the EU.
  • You should have added the SNP,because if they win,the oil,s all Scottish and Britain,s deep in debt with no way of ever paying it back.

    ;)

Yes but you are welcome to it, so long as you also stop taking the "Scottish Block" which is the astronomical amount of predominally London raised taxes that we plough into Scotland each year - which incidentally are many times more than the Oil revenues of Scotland - someone's been taking to many mouthfuls of the SNP rubbish and started to believe their pie in the sky policies

What Thatcher did? You mean what the Labour Government did before she came to power who forced her to make a lot of hard choices that many people blame her for today.

You do remember the endless strikes in 1978, the loans that Britain got from the IMF to keep us floating, the power shortages, the rubbish piled a mile high on Britain's streets? Britain was in a horrible state and Labour was the cause just like what Gordon Brown has done today to the economy. Also, you seem to blame Thatcher with '15% inflation'? Did you know that it was 28% under the previous Labour Government before Thatcher?

If David Cameron is elected, he too will be remembered for making a lot of hard choices and be blamed unfairly as he goes about 'cleaning up the mess'.

The problem with people is that they have a short memory.

So true, the problem with all 'hated' Conservative Prime Ministers is that they usually come in off the back of a completely failed Labour administration with dire economic resources and a real need to fix something that actually wasn't broken the last time the Conservatives were in office - but which Labout managed to destroy in their period holding the baton....

Oh look at this ... 1987 economy good, 2010 economy shot... Labour ruined it all and the incoming tory Prime Minister is alrready hated for the tough decisions necessary...

If you don;t want a tough and 'hated' Tory Prime Minister the answer is simple - Never vote Labour - the Conservatives only employ tough regimes to solve the messes they inherit

I'll be voting Lib Dem. We need Vince Cable as Chancellor. He is the only one who has consistently talked sense on the economy. I trust him to do what's right for Britain. Clegg strikes me as straightforward too. Don't trust Cameron HOW much makeup was he wearing in those debates????

I agree we need Vince as Chancellor... if we lived in a world were people could say I'll just spend this here - and magically the money appeared...

He says the right things but thats because as a LibDem he knows he'll never actually have the headache of trying to pay for them... The Lib Dems will never win an election and to be honest when we all see what a nightmare PR is for the country they'll be blamed for lumbering us with it and the PR share will plummet too.

The tories arent even in power yet and we are already hearing the excuses for 'bad' decisions they haven't even made yet!!!

If Labour will the election I will laugh and jump for joy, If Conservatives win I will wait patiently and then say ' I told you so' when unemployment increases, interest rates go up and you are all waiting 4 years for routine operations!!

Labour certainly, this has to the worst government we've ever had and I'd be hard put to choose the worst PM between brown and blair, but I think brown just has the edge due to his uncontrolled immigration policy. It's interesting that the Lib Dems post the lowest percentage that people don't want to win. Good news for them anyway. On the results of this poll so far it looks like they will have about 600 out of the total number of seats. Don't think that's going to happen, but it might make for an interesting future!

Get real! Things are going to get worse whoever gets in - if not we will be another Greece very soon with street riots and people being killed. Taxes WILL increase. Interest rates will follow (and as a saver that pleases me). Unemployment will turn around if businesses are allowed to borrow from the banks to get them moving again (What's Darling done about that?) As for the NHS, Cameron has already promised to ring-fence it. However if Brown gets in his increase in NI contributions WILL negatively affect the NHS along with every other business and non pensioner in the country. You may be jumping for joy tomorrow but your joy will soon turn to rage if Brown is allowed to have his way for another 5 years.

I think the Conservatives are much like double cream, they're rich, thick and full of clots!:p

Mmm and come to think of it, Labour are much like sour milk...full of promise but when you open the carton, you'll find it's also full of clots, it's offensive and completely unpalatable.:p

Riots are born out of injustice. Anyone heard of the Poll Tax, bloody miners' strike? How many riots have we had here since 1997? Yes, Taxes will increase but not for those that can afford to pay more. Businesses have made no such promise and when the demand for jobs rise even further, more and more people will be lucky to get minimum wage.
