She gets busy and doesn't post. It is a bit like buses. Some days there are none, and then she will come back with a bundle of energy and post loads.

Just assume she is busy writing and she will come back with a doozer of an idea to dazzle us all with. :D

Wow, what an essay! I sound like such an evangelical, but seriously, I am a convert! This morning I didn't have time to make the bed, and it's bugging me that it is at home unmade. Now even a month ago, I'd have said, 'well, why make it? You're only going to get in it again in a few hours!'.

Its like the universe sent you dfw844! I was so into that book but didn't have time to start anything due to work, then I begun to think that it wouldn't really work and I was crap and now you have shown up and been like the perfect advert. It makes so much sense!

I love this diary have missed it this week xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Buffy, I know just what you mean, although in my case I feel as though the Universe has sent me MemoryGirl and all the posters on this thread.

From me getting The Secret and then mentioning it to a friend, a whole new world of possibilities has opened up to me, and my friend it turns out is very much on the same wavelength and we are supporting and encouraging each other.

Sending positive thoughts to all :kisses3:

I can see that we all seem to have huge "to do" lists....me included.
A friend has lent me a book, Ask and it is Given, there is a section about this and feeling as though you have too much to do.

Take a large piece of paper and draw a line down the middle, as a heading on the left side, write: "Things I Will Do Today" As a heading on the right side, write: "Things I Would Like The Universe To Do."
Now, looking over your long Things To Do list, select only those things that you absolutely intend to do this day. Things you feel you must do, things you really want to do. Select only those things that, no matter what, you intend to do today and enter them on the left side of your paper, beneath the heading; Things I Will Do Today. And now, enter all the other tasks on the Universe's side of the paper.

The chapter goes on to explain how this process helps and works, but my take on it, is that by making the list manageable and achievable, it helps you feel better and more able to achieve rather than fail. Also, you are asking the Universe directly to help and jobs should also start to go from the Universe's side.

I've only just started delving into the book, but thought it was relevant to the discussions on the thread.

Thats a really interesting idea to play with - today my plan was to paint a blackboard on my kitchen wall touse as a planning wall. MAybe I will create two halves - I for me and one for the universe.

I will let you know what happens

Hi Whatawit - can l exclude cleaning the oven:rotfl:

Cleaning the oven is my pet hate - second only to paying the money out to heat the darn thing in the first place. The best present I was given last year was from the PR dept at British Gas who gave me a halogen oven in exchange for some press stuff they needed doing with a single Mom.

I was intending to do the work for nothing because I got a grant for my Central Heating - but when they came to do the filming I had baked (nice OS Home Baking) - and I think they decided to say thank you personally for the ever filling kettle and never empting cake tin that we had that day - LOL.

Th eoven is big enough for our daily loaf of bread - and most importantly has "self cleaning function" - I love it, and it gets used all the time.................... although it does look like a UFO has landed on my kitchen worktop :D

Hi, reporting in on my first 7 days of 100. 2 clients this week not great but already got 2 booked for next week (target 15 week:eek:). Going to do more leaflets today. DH working tomorrow so I thought I would do some decluttering and then ebaying, free listings this weekend, bring out your junk to clutter someone elses house:rotfl:

Brilliant news knitwit - keep ploddingto get those clients to refer you more clients - I find the best value from early clients comes from the referrals they generate so you need to keep in touch with them regularily.

I am stashing my ebay finds on the shelves I cleared by putting DS2 in to his own room. My dongle makes it incredibly slow to upload photos n stuff to ebay so i am going to keep collecting until my "new to me laptop" arrives and my broadband connection is installed.

My 100 a day "clutter busting" challenge has extended to - find 100 things to throw out OR put on the ebay shelves ready for selling.

Having said that I have been out of the house the last couple of days - so am now 50 things behind so need to get a wiggle on today.

....................... and then the "Earn £125 per month on ebay" cahllenge can commence in earnest!!

Where've you gone, MG? Two days ago you had just made pies... now you're very quiet!
    Hope all's well?

I ate all the pies .................................. so I've been hiding :D

Actually on Thursday I drove our new Teacher, the Headteacher, her Husband and three kids along with my 2 - and another little girl who is at our school and happened to be staying over - up through the highlands in the School bus.

On eof the kids was born in Fortingall - famous for, well Her being born there and also allegedly the birthplace of Pontious Pilate - who knew????? There's all this stuff about your own country you just have no idea about.

Lovely, lovely sunny day (unlike the rain of the day before) - we all packed a picnic and stopped in Glen Lyon right by the river to eat and swim/paddle/ chat/nap :rotfl:

Picnic for me and the two boys was rustled up from my storecupboard - so a fun, sunny NSD.

Mind you it was late when we got back - ratty baby cos he was over excited, ratty DS1 cos I was getting him organised to go away very early on Friday with his Grandma for his trip to Legoland - so not exaclty a serene ending to the day ....................also has a monster headache because I don't think I had drunk enough - YUCK!!!

So we were all in bed by 9pm - No MSE, no challanges either - but a pretty good day I think
