    Crickett,

Is it men or women compalining, or a mixture. I think that men often find a straightforward woman who stands up to them scary. From what I can gather there hasn't been a complaint of bullying which is a very different matter, so long as you are assertive and not aggressive I wouldn't worry too much.

It's all women round here. There are only 2 men on the School Executive committee, and I get on fine with both of them - and neither of them would scare easily!

Having really thought about this today, I think it must be their perception of how I am speaking and what I am talking about. I am very enthusiastic about my work and can get quite excited about accounts and management information. (I know... I need to get out more! :D) Perhaps they are misreading enthusiasm for aggression?

Thanks for your advice everyone. :D I really appreciate it.

MG, sorry you are having such a nightmare with TalkTalk! :( hope it gets sorted soon!

  • Sounds like the line is settling down - happens for a few days after connection sometimes.

Never heard of it effecting the land line though. Pop over and use Clootie's phone x

    Enjoy your swim :)

The adsl light needs to stop flashing & be on continually.
It is possible that it is a Talk Talk problem in your area and not you individually.

I am with Talk talk and frequently don't have the internet.
I was thinking of changing provider actually:(

MG. sorry you are having problems. i live in a rural area and my broadband often comes in and out. I find the best thing to do is switch it off a the wall for a while and then switch it back on. I do know though that even after having the line installed I had to wait 2 days for it to kick in. I am surprised you are even getting on at all. I am with BT but when I was with other providers in my previous house I also had to wait a couple of days for it to be fully available. Give the 01925 number a try, it may work

  • I only want to report a fault on a line - but without a phone line it costs you a ransom!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!!

Hello, this is my first post ever! Just to let you know MG, that I've called Talk Talk in the past from my mobile, explaining my landline doesn't work, and they've called me back on my mobile straight away.

    Hope that helps anyway,
