  • Planning on using the mind mapping as still getting my head round things like implied odds, the starting odds of my hand, based on extra criteria and the odds of hitting my 'outs'! lol. Also, I need to improve my memory as I can't remember the cards I hold during a hand - its even worse if I fold (I know, I know it shouldn't matter as I am out of the hand.... but it does matter!)

Would love to count cards though! :D All commision payable to you and the future of your choice!

  • Just a thought - and I really don't want to rain on your parade but.....

These juicy diets are very good & very healthy but they also help to clear out the toxins in your system - you really don't want to be covered in plooks on Monday - so maybe a bit of juice diet with some chocolate/red wine to counteract the effects??:p

always looking out fo rmy best interests hon :D

plooks - for our southern brethern are huge spots;)

  • Hello,

I'm trying to keep up with the thread and the blog but seem to be struggling a bit. Should I start with the thread start to finishs or the blog? Help!

I'd probably have a look at the blog as this thread will take a while to catch up on - I think Mr Big appeared around page 90, if that helps.

  • Apple and Cinnamon Porridge (Slow Cooker Stylee)
Officially it's banana and cinnamon, but I can't bear cooked banana!

    Prep time - 5 minutes
    Temp - Low
    Cooking time - 1-2 hours
Serves -4 (ha ha, yeah right!)

    600ml (1 pint) boiling water
300ml (1/2 pint) milk (I like it milky so I swap these two around)
    150g (5 oz) Porridge oats
2 bananas (well apples, or pears, or oranges, or anything other than bananas actually)
4 tablespoons of sugar (It suggests brown/muscovado)
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon (or nutmeg, or anything else tasty)

Preheat slow cooker if necessary. Pour boiling water and milk into cooker, stir in oats.

Cover with lid and cook for 1 (for runny) or 2 (for nice thick stick on the ribs) hours. (Whoops I should read instructions, I bung my fruit in at this point too!)

Spoon into bowls, slice banana (yuck) and top bowls. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top (ooops, i chucked that in with the oats!)

    Eat!

I also suggest using muesli (175g, 6oz) instead of porridge oats if you like - topped with honey... hmmm yummy
