  • Hi MG and everyone,

MG many thanks I have received your book but have been away so have been a tad late catching up with everything - I will send the payment today either by paypal if I can work it out or cheque.

I am following the challenge too but have not signed up to it. I am de-cluttering - though I should not have much to do as my friend says in all the time they've known me I have been decluttering. Anywho's I was looking for some advice regarding decluttering my wardrobe if thats ok? :o

Due to illness I have gained weight lately and am extremely determined to get back down to my usual size - the juices thing sounds really good for this btw - must look out for the book - So in my wardrobe are clothes I love which at the moment do not fit me. I do have some clothes that I have had for about 14years - these have all been very well cared for but are not 'fashion' items as such so I can wear them still - it has only been this year that I've gained the pounds. I do not want to get rid of these as they are in fab condition, I feel great when I wear them and they are exactly my style. I also can't afford to replace everything :o So, I have only my wardrobe to store all my clothes in - I have my summer, winter, workwear and socialising clothes in there and also have my coats and jackets. Does anyone have any advice about how I can go through my wardrobe and part with some things? The space will be fab and anything I part with will be either e-bayed or given to charity.

Sorry for the long rambling post but any help would be fab

  • Oops - forgot to say HUGELY exciting news re. Mr Big coming to visit.

Claire - I looked at your jewellery page the other day and your pieces are stunning - I do think you should charge postage costs as someone else suggested and also that you could have a higher selling price for some items. Re. the workshops if you were near me this is definitely something I would sign up for.

  • quick run in and then back to my mindmaps.

lunch is a banana and honey zest.

2 oranges, 1 banana and a tsp of honey over lots of ice.

thats some weightloss bathbabe - but a really good idea re the porridge in the morning - and i have still got my freebie porridge to work through - lol.

i just thought it would give me full stop on the mindless eating - and set me up for a healthier eating plan - so a weight loss would be a bonus. also clootie gave me some marvellous homegrown apples and pears and juiced up they are a real treat.

what i'm really hoping for is a burst of creative energy though - lol.

off to rotate the washing on the airer - then back to the masterplan. - the dreams are getting bigger by the moment, and tomorrow i have a business coach coming in to sort through all my stuff with me to get it organised.

................. and tonight ................. its apple pie time!!!

    HI MG,

Uni starts again in a week and I already have troubles catching up with your diary :(, it seems I don't have any time for anything at the moment.

Great news on Mr Big, just to let you know I am free on Monday evening, if he wants to fly first to London and pick me up than go to yours than that's fine by me:). Only joking, I would be dead tired at the end of the day and probably just say something stupid:).

Re weight loss-you know what works for me all the time? Breakfast: oatibix or porridge (33 g only, not a gram more), lunch is always, always porridge (33g) and than have proper dinner. I am not hungry and don't think about snacking though I allow myself a cereal bar mid afternoon. I lost weight within days and more importantly I was never hungry.

My favourite recipe is cinnamon and banana porridge tho - takes an hour - perfick while you're taking the kiddywink to school... I can pop up the recipe if you're interested.

  • OK as we're talking about losing weight & I've now lost 2 stone I'll chip in with my diet.
    1. Skip breakfast (yes I know what you're all going to say)
    2. Sandwich & fruit for lunch
    3. Normal meal with kids in the evening (home made pasta, stirfry, shepherd's pie etc)

Fill up if needed on fruit, tea & Lidl Cola.
Keep it simple & forget that you are dieting and concentrate on more interesting things.
And try not to weigh yourself more than once an hour.
